when arriving we were told that the new owners did not expect us and they were renovating so no room for us could not get in touch with previous owners so cost us a lot more money for an other room

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Horse Pub for New Year Day fireworks, walks on the prom, days out in Cromer and Sheringham and drives along the North Norfolk coast

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Horse. It was a perfect base from which to enjoy the Cromer New Year’s Day Fireworks, explore North Norfolk, go out for walks and short drives. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Grateful for Fairtrade drinks, and eco-friendly reminders

all good...only downside room 1 can hear all the noise from the pool room and one morning the beer barrels being loaded or unloaded. very friendly

Clean. Nice strong shower. Nice and warm. Lovely breakfast included.

One real ale was off, still on sale. TV in room could be a bit bigger. Ovrrall excellent.

A good quiet location to access the beach for walks and site see other locations along the coast. Cromer was disappointing but Sheringham and Holt were good for walking and shopping.

This is a great little hotel, very clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and convenient, meeting all our needs on a visit to Norfolk.

Our 2nd stay...some hazzards for tall people like myself.. We love it..Excellent breakfast

Excellent one night stay at The White Horse in Overstrand. Nice, quiet room, comfortable bed and quality towels. Excellent breakfast included. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

Large modern rooms. Family friendly pub. You can walk to Cromer along the beach.

Great stay at the white horse, we only atayed one night but the room was amazing and very worth the money. Great friendly staff and the food was great as we had dinner and breakfast! Child and super dog friendly too, very close to beach less than 10mins by foot perfect location. With only a 10mins drive to cromer pier.

Nice clean hotel. Good for people with dogs. Breakfast and service was good. Would be good to include a shower cap in the bathroom. Our room was very small, however the hotel was fully booked and luck of the straw I guess. Close to the promenade and sea cafe.

Room on top floor,hard to get to.food not up to standard as last time we visited

We booked for two adults and an infant and were given such a tiny room that the travel cot barely fit in it. It was on the top floor, and it was so hot that we had to prop the door to the hallway open at the beginning of the night to try to get some air flow, as the window didn't open much and the curtain had to be down as the room was in full sun. Of course we had to close the door at some point as we didn't want anyone to come in and take the baby! There must have been a festival or wedding somewhere nearby as well, as all we heard was the thumping of the bass drum and bass guitar until 11pm that night. Glad we only stayed one night! I'd avoid if you're not travelling alone in winter!

Great friendly, helpful staff. Food was lovely and nice menu. Room was well equipped and comfortable. Lovely cooked breakfast to set you up for the day 😃
