We stayed for 4 nights. Its a great place to see the area. Hotel owners are amazing people Staff were all helpful and pleasant.THE food was fantastic value would definitely tell everyone to eat in,hotel was a bit dated but to say it was built in the 17th century it's in good order. Hopefully we will be returning in the near future.

Friendly, clean and mega value

As always the staff are welcoming, friendly, personal and professional. The room was spatious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast : delicious. I’ve now stayed at the Dixie around 14 times!! Highly recommend.

Wonderful as always

Room was large. Bed was comfy and bedding good. Room warm. Shower good. Stair carpet was very dirty. Shower needed mould spray. Lots of noise from the street early in the morning, not the hotels fault. Toilet constantly running during the night and emergency light on all night. I’m a light sleeper so this was a problem for me. I left before breakfast and the sandwich left in place of breakfast was supposed to be ham salad with mustard but it was just two slices of processed ham. Staff were great. Outside the pub/hotel was really grotty. Needs a Damb good clean up.

Fabulous pub, drinks selection, room and bathroom. Welcome was friendly and so professional. The breakfast was just perfection and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The welcome I received when I entered was excellent - the lady helped me with my bags to my room. She explained everything to me. The room was clean, homely and great facilities - I will definitely be back thank you

Friendly staff, who made me feel welcome. Great authentic hotel in an old pub with a real community feel. Room clean and comfortable with a good range of amenities. Good food too. Really beautiful towns and villages nearby

Very friendly welcome from the staff. The room was nice and the food and drink was very reasonably priced. Also parking on site. Would recommend and would book again.

Breakfast was excellent. Service and room was nice. Evening meal and specials was good. Staff were excellent. Really pleasant stay. Close to Mallory park circuit which was handy for us. Easy paring also.
