Last minute trip for a death in the family. Hubby and I stayed one night. This was my second stay at this hotel in three weeks. Easy check in and check out. Super comfy king sized bed. Clean room. Clean bathroom. Could have used a notepad/pen as I had a call come in and I was scrambling to write an important number on a kleenex! Unfortunately I totally forgot about the note and tossed the kleenex!! Usually there's a complimentary one in a hotel room. Oh well. We planned to have breakfast but ran out of time so we didn't sample anything. Coffee in the room was fine. There was a fridge but no microwave. Tons of parking. Front desk staff were friendly.

Breakfast adequate

Pretty nice stay and inexpensive. One thing though, the toilet was so low it would have been helpful to have a rope from the ceiling to lower oneself.

The parking area is really a hodge podge of disorganization! The front desk was quitte affable and the room seems clean if pretty basic. Internet is good!

The hotel was in the perfect location for what I needed during my stay in Lindsay. Bed was over the top comfy. Fantastic. Breakfast was ok. It got us through till lunch. Toast, bagels, bananas, waffles, peameal and scrambled eggs appeared on day two. We were too late on the first morning. Cereal, milk, juice. Machine coffee so I imagine it's a mix. It was ok but weak. :) The hot/cold fluctuation in the shower caused some scrambling but it was managable. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. I couldn't climb stairs so I ended up with a great ground floor room. No coffee/tea available after breakfast. It would have been nice. You can make some in your room though. Atmosphere in the breakfast area was very quiet and relaxing. Rooms were very clean and not perfumed to mask odor which I appreciated. This is my second stay at this hotel. I didn't enjoy my first time but this time made up for it. Well done!

It was a nice staycation. The property is ok-ok and breakfast is just avg with limited items. Overall experience was good. Will give 6/10

Place was quiet at night. Pleasant stay.

Stayed 3 nights, told them I didn't need anything, I had enough towels, etc. There was not a "do not disturb" sign to use, but assuned they wouldn't have come in. To my surprise they had gone in, changed towels and garbage. I had personal stuff out, and felt uneasy they they had gone in. Next time I will make sure I have that sign on my door!

Continental breakfast is limited, coffee is good

Nice and clean but breakfast poor. We arrived for breakfast at 8.45am. Scrambled eggs like rubber. Coffee was good.

Need car

Stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham in Lindsay for a weekend getaway and had a great experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the basic amenities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and check-in was quick and easy. Location is convenient—close to local restaurants, shops, and a short drive to nature trails and lakes in the area. The included breakfast was decent, with a mix of hot and cold options. Overall, a solid choice for anyone visiting Kawartha Lakes looking for affordable comfort and reliable service. Would definitely stay again!

The property did not take down the advertisement on the Expedia website when they had a power outage. So when I arrived to the hotel there was no power and the front desk personnel had to call and remind the owner to take it down. I’m still waiting for a refund 10 days later. It’s pretty straight forward to me.

I had an issue with my TV, no one cared to resolve it and when I mentioned it at check-out the agent implied it was my fault because I hadn't talked to "her" at check-in. I had mentioned it to her co-worker and would have thought any staff member could be capable of taking care of a guest request. Breakfast was pathetic. I went to put milk in my cereal and it was warm because it was just sitting on the counte, not even in ice.

This property is going through a renovation and they're almost done. The very helpful staff more than overcame the reno. The junior suite we had read huge - very nice. The restaurant (not related to the Ramada) was accessible from the hotel which was very convenient in the cold weather. When we visit Lindsay on the future, we'll definitely stay here again.
