We stayed for the Easter weekend from Friday to Monday in a large sea view room, with our dog.
I have always admired this stunning hotel so was excited to finally stay. The location is perfect (and is next to train station), we chose to have a sea view room, which I am so glad we did.
I was disappointed to see that the hotel parking in the garage cost £10 a night, so we opted to park on the road outside which is free with no restrictions and we always found a space.
We received a lovely warm welcome and the reception area is really lovely.
Our room was great too and we had some dog biscuits and a blanket which was a nice touch.
The room was comfortable and clean, but there is a bit of wear and tear (stained carpets, chipped woodwork etc) but none of this bothered us.
Breakfast was very good, but not amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very dog friendly which was lovely.
We didn't use the spa as it was closed.
The location is perfect, opposite the beach area, about a 10 min walk to the town. Nd about a 30 min walk to Paignton.
I would stay again.
