I checked in with my partner then went out for dinner. When we returned, we pulled back the covers and noticed something crawling in the bed.. come to find out it’s a bed bug. We immediately grabbed our belongings and left to the front desk, where we were greeted by awful customer service. The two at the desk were smiling and laughing during this situation and didn’t seem surprised to hear of bed bugs. They offered another room.. we obviously didn’t take it. We were told that when the “inspectors” come on Monday they’ll determine whether or not it was a bed bug and would warrant a full refund. My concern is that there’s no way to tell if the “inspector” will be truthful, or if there even is a real “inspector” Based on the manner in which the front desk handled the situation, I have no faith that they’ll admit it was a bed bug so they can withhold my money.
All in all, poor experience and poor customer service. Definitely don’t stay here if you want good service and a bug free room!
