Efficient, friendly staff, comfortable beds good continental breakfast, excellent location for visiting Anfield.

Wonderful staff

The staff was friendly upon arrival. Took us to our room and showed us game room. Small room, couldn’t access bed from both sides, mattress badly stained, comforter smelled unclean, no mattress pad, bathroom floor soft and unstable, sewer odor from toilet.

staff absolutely lovely, property lovely, offered free breakfast, only downside was the area isn't the safest especially for young women.

Weekend trip for the grand national at nearby Aintree. Convenient bus service #10 to town. Great staff and breakfast service. Lovely local pub down near the bus stop. Highly recommended.

Staff were friendly and very helpful.. If you stay you must spend time down in the basement... But sorry to say, needs a little eye to detail.

The property was good on the outside but the reality was different on the inside. Uncomfortable beds, pillows, boiler in room emitted noise, found hair around the room, mouldy bread at breakfast, dirty table cloth, we really felt unclean and glad it was only one night!

Booked in here as all the thieves in town were charging a fortune, (St Paddys Weekend). Pleasantly surprised. Greeted by a lovely lady at check in. Got parked up in front of guest house. We were given a mini tour (breakfast area) and shown to our room. The room was a tad small ,but clean and very warm. It was a place to crash for a night. We walked into town, it's easy, downhill and about 40 mins. Taxi back at night cost £11. (Black cab). Didn't try breakfast (its help yourself continental plenty of cereals). We forgot to view the Liverpool themed thing downstairs.

We came up for a football match. Ideal location and the owner could not be more accommodating. We will def be returning

It’s an old building with a certain charm. It’s a little tired around the edges - certainly in the bedroom. Our bed was very soft and bowed in the middle like a hammock but somehow slept fine - the wine probably helped! The dining room was smart and the continental breakfast basic/limited but functional.

Excellent location for visiting Liverpool FC match

Stayed here as a visit to Anfield, Guest house was clean and roomy, we prefer a much harder bed than we had but it was only for one night, own bathroom and shower, tv, coffee and tea facilities, towels, shampoo, continental breakfast was fine no evening meal provided, car parking, all in all was pleasant we would use again.

The room was spacious but was very warm and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. It was a little tired with a few failings, and in an area that wasn’t the best. All in all, considering the price we paid it was average.

Good cheap place to stay while your in Liverpool.

The staff at the hotel are absolutely lovely. So kind and welcoming and go the extra mile. The location proved to be a little out of the way for what we wanted but we did know this when we booked. We wanted to support a local business rather than a chain and needed good room rates - it was not an issue to book and Uber into town and it was close enough to Anfield Stadium to do the same. Parking is free at the accommodation so if you are going to drive it is a win win! There is no way we would have got such a great deal in the city that is for sure! Absolutely perfect for those on a budget and the Guest House really is lovely in side. It has character. We really appreciated the free upgrade to the apartment and the breakfast snacks that are complimentary. THANK YOU and best of luck going forward with you hotel.

Lovely people, lovely clean place and the bedding smelt amazing. Little things could improve ie, no spoon for tea/coffee in the room. Crazy shower. But really had a lovely stay and would definately go back.
