The location was excellent, the staff was friendly, my room was perfect. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Nice hotel in a great location. The room had a mini kitchen, which was convenient. The walls are a bit thin, as you could hear the neighbors. Additionally, the bright exit sign at the front door lit up the entire room. A curtain or something should be added to darken the room. I didn't try the breakfast down in the restaurant, but the coffee was good. Ideal for my three night stay.

Elena at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Among other things, she booked a Northern Lights tour with EastWest tourguides that enabled us to see a spectacular Aurora show.

Our room was like a mini apartment with a bedroom, kitchen, and living room area. Room 211 is out on the terrace. One neighbor on one side and no neighbor below us other than a restaurant that was closed during our stay. P1 parking is located right outside the front door of hotel but it’s only for 3 hours of parking. Parking is free between 9pm and 9am. P2 parking (more than 3 hours) is located a few blocks next to the pond. The hotel is centrally located just walking distance to stores, restaurants, pond, port area. It’s about 6 minute walk to rainbow street and Hallgrímskirkja. I really liked how spacious the room was and it was nicely decorated, as was the rest of the hotel.

Ideal location and wonderful staff! It was my first time in Iceland and I really felt at home. My room had a small kitchenette which was perfect for storing restaurant leftovers. (Lamb chops for breakfast!) The desk staff remembered me each day and provided excellent advice on my itinerary and travel logistics when there was a blizzard that impacted departing flights. I would stay there again without hesitation!

The receptionist at the hotel was super nice and helpful. We were stuck on north of route 1 due to high wind and snow closure. We finally checked in at 1am. The receptionist helped prep the room for us ahead of time. Thank again for the beat customer service. Truong

Friendly staff, great location

The hotel is located at a very convenient location, Bus Stop 1 (City Hall) is just 2 mins away, Bus Stop 3 is also very close by. The hotel is in an old building, our Bigger Room was big with two separate areas, but the bedroom did not have a door. The toilet was small, especially the sink was extremely small, there was a separated shower room at living area. Overall it was a nice stay, staff were friendly, they did offer breakfast but with 20 euro/pp price tag, we didn't have breakfast there.

Amazing hotel with helpful staff and perfect location

Perfect location! More importantly, the staff was first class all the way!! We enjoyed interacting with them. They were kind and helpful beyond words!!! I would absolutely stay here again and again!

Hotel was perfect in every way. Great location, close to restaurants and bars, and very close to all shopping and attraxtions. We will definitely be back!

We had a superior room and it was great. It included an island with a sink and coffee/tea maker. We had a window and could see the front facing the town and enjoyed it. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We had breakfast one day of our stay and it was very good with several choices on the buffet. The staff is wonderful! They were warm and welcoming every time we walked into the lobby and they gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants, all of which were excellent. They were very helpful in suggesting things to see and made us feel very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking the downtown area. I had noticed in previous reviews that people gave high ratings for location and staff, and I’d have to say that is spot-on. In our last day, the staff allowed us to leave our luggage after check out so we could go eat before we caught the bus to the airport. That was very helpful. We would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Room was spotless, and with anything you need for your stay, shower was nice and powerful and hot, heating was warm, so it was really snug. Front desk staff were amazing, help with Parking, super friendly. We had breakfast booked and ticked all of our boxes, hot scrambled egg with bacon, cereal, juice, T-C, cold meats, fruit, and even a nice doughnut shape cake, the lady serving was very nice and polite.
