The room was dark. It was hot. The phone didn’t work. I was told I couldn’t have room service till 22.00. Only to discover at 21.40 that it is available from 21.00. The shower needs instructions to turn it on. When booking via expedia I understood parking was available as there was a blue dot indicating parking and I paid more for that room than another room exactly the same. When I arrived there is no parking available and I had to use and pay for public parking.

Our stay was good, hotel has everything you need and the location is perfect.

The "Check In" gentleman was so helpful; his manner was perfect. Our double room was large and spotless; we could not fault it. We had a wonderful end to the night, the bar manageress was chatty and very friendly After a wonderful night's sleep, we had a breakfast to die for. Wonderful Hotel, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Rooms were good sizes and very clean

When the breakfast area was busy there were never quite enough tables prepared to keep up with demand. The buffet quickly ran out of items which were not replaced efficiently and without asking. On quieter days the buffet breakfast was well managed.

Good location, friendly welcome from check in desk lass, bathroom floor not cleanest, breakfast undercooked really disappointing and then not much support to fix/ refund.

The hotel is really beautiful and staff were very helpful and polite. A real highlight was the food which was excellent at both dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately the trip was let down by the fact that it was not communicated to the hotel via Expedia that I had booked for 2 adults and 1 child, this meant that there was no bed in the room for my son (which was rectified by 8pm) and we had to pay for his dinner and breakfast despite booking the dinner, bed and breakfast option via Expedia for 2 adults and 1 child. I believe this is not the fault of the hotel but Expedia's.

Very spacious room, well appointed. Extremely friendly staff, will definitely return again!

Hotel was nice although room (chose a suite) wasn’t up to the standard I expected with a wooden slat broken on bathroom blinds and the blinds being unable to close. The wooden floors were scratched and the carpet didn’t look the cleanest. We were greeted at reception but not the warmest welcome. The guy spoke very little and didn’t seem overly happy in his workplace. The bar area was nice although very expensive!

The room didn't seem to be clean, and was suffocating, even with the window open. The hallways smelled incredibly bad. For how expensive the rooms are, these are hard to overlook.

Enjoyed the stay. Room was very good. A little dated. Room service not so good. Never topped up coffee milk etc. sundries which you had to pay for were missing which could have lead to being charged for something we did not have. Had to remind reception twice of this. But would stop there again as overall experience was good

Superb location and great value

I stay all over the UK and this was the most expensive breakfast I’ve seen. Don’t even pay that price in London!!
