Room was super cozy. Well kept. Clean. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

Nothing fancy but great location, quiet and clean! It was perfect for us since we were sightseeing and basically just there to sleep. They coordinated our shuttle from the airport to the hotel which was awesome since we had just arrived in Italy!

PROS Our room and bathroom were clean, with all the usual amenities. Very useful having free ice-cold drinking water and tea and coffee at all times in the shared dining area (meant we never spent money on bottles of water, and could take water with us when we were sight-seeing). I think the hotel has changed what it offers for the free breakfast over time - so some of the photos of a buffet with bread and cheese etc are out-of-date. We had packaged pastries that were lovely and just enough in the morning before heading out (and eating pasta and gelato for the rest of the day!). It is free as well, so really can not complain. Location is excellent - there is a wonderful deli and bakery just next to the hotel (Volpetti dal 1870). CONS Be aware that the reception (with hotel staff) is only open until 4pm every day (despite any messages, emails or WhatsApp messages that the hotel admin might send you). Also worth noting that our room was one of the 4 that are right next to the reception desk and the staircase from the entrance - if you get one of these rooms you will hear (very clearly and loudly) anyone who comes in and out of the hotel (talking, walking up the staircase, the front door of the building) as there is no sound-proofing. We heard the people talking loudly in the room next door as well, but this is nowhere near as bad as the people coming in and out at different times in the evening and overnight.

The location is convenient but not very obvious. Short walk to the Pantheon. Reception is nice but only there until 4pm. It is not a normal hotel operation but instead a collection of restored rooms on the 2nd floor of a small building. Not quite a BnB either. The room had good ac with a mini split that worked well. I would not say that the room and location justify the price, but the market will determine this.

Friendly staff, AC works well. Only one tiny inconvenience was that I was expecting a double bed, but it was two single beds pushed together. They would sometimes come seperated at night

Very mouldy smell and pictures taken of rooms were not accurate. Good location but a lack of a front desk staff and aesthetics of the place was poor quality.

I really liked how safe and secure the property was. It was also sort of hidden, which I enjoyed. The property was very clean, and all staff members I spoke to were very kind. I truly enjoyed my stay, and if I am ever back in Rome, I will be sure to return.

Excellent location and easy walking area to most major sites.

This property and the reception was wonderful. Very close to most everything and very quaint. Highly recommend! The reception person, Gabriele, was extremely cordial and very, very helpful. He took the time and was able to help us reschedule transfers due to the Italian transit strike. We truly appreciated him very much! Thank you Gabriele! Book your stay here!
