This was our first family trip to Jaipur, and unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We were a group of six adults and two children, including my 84-year-old father. Our experience started on a very poor note at the reception. The staff attempted to mislead us by claiming that breakfast was not included in our room rate, despite our booking confirmation stating otherwise. Ms. Priyanka and her team greeted us without even a basic smile or gesture of hospitality. Instead of making us feel welcome, they asked us to wait for a long time while the rooms were being prepared. I repeatedly explained that my 84-year-old father urgently needed a room to rest, but there was absolutely no empathy or concern from the reception staff. We were not even offered a glass of water or a welcome drink while we waited. To make matters worse, we were initially allotted rooms in what they called the "travel rooms." These rooms were shabby, dirty, poorly maintained, and not even comparable to a decent two-star hotel. After arguing with the reception for nearly three to four hours, they finally shifted us to rooms in the main lobby building. Unfortunately, the problems continued throughout our stay. Almost every service request was either denied or delayed. Basic amenities such as tissue papers and drinking water were often unavailable, and whenever we requested anything, it typically took one to two hours to be delivered. The overall WORST

Aunque las instalaciones están muy bien, y la atención del personal es fantástica, las habitaciones dejan mucho que desear. Cuando lleguemos no funcionaba el refrigerador, los colchones estaban viejos y hundidos (los más incómodos que encontramos en todo nuestro viaje por India), las sábanas y toallas tenían manchas, el baño estaba viejo y descuidado… muchas cosas por mejorar. No es culpa del personal de limpieza, es culpa del hotel por no invertir suficiente en su mantenimiento. Además, nos encontramos a las 9 de la noche a 3 hombres pintando el pasillo de nuestra habitación (no habrá día para hacerlo!), por lo que tuvimos que estar en la habitación soportando el olor a pintura. Le comenté todo esto a la chica de recepción, y, tras esto, hicieron una limpieza profunda de la habitación, cambiaron (o le dieron la vuelta) a los colchones. Como le dije al supervisor, si verdaderamente les importan los clientes, no es necesario esperar hasta que se quejen los huéspedes para solucionar los problemas. El restaurante es fantástico. El buffet de la mañana es muy completo, pero no probamos el de la cena por su escasa variedad (solo comida india). Cenamos todos los días de carta. Platos muy sabrosos (aunque no siempre supieron adaptarlos a nuestro gusto). Un día encontré un bicho en mi plato. Detalles que le hacen perder categoría al lugar. Tened en cuenta las tasas/impuestos y el coste de servicio! En cada cena pagamos más de 700 rupias en estos conceptos.

If you want to get yourself embarrassed, you don’t care about respect and service from a 4 or 5 Star property, The lalit Jaipur is definitely a place which will give you all these experiences in ABUNDANCE. Worst experience ever!!!!

I was under the impression I was booking 2 nights at the Lalit Jaipur, instead I somehow got booked at the Lalit "Traveller". While they're under the same roof, the standards are very different. The Lalit Traveller claims to be a 4.5 star hotel, but charges for everything from soap/shampoo to an iron to standard maid service. My room was nice enough; however, my view was of a concrete wall and the shower was one of the worst I've experienced. That being said, you get to experience a lot of the nicer amenities that you would expect out of a Lalit hotel, including a fantastic breakfast, and beautiful pool and gym. The staff was lovely. The location is conveniently located next to the airport, but very little else. Overall, not the worst experience I've ever had, though not at all what you would expect out of this brand name. They've really cheapened themselves with their "Traveller" off-shoot.

Not one of the best hotels I’ve been to They charge for everything from toothpaste to comb at the traveller side of the hotel I’ve been to a better place with almost same amount I’ve paid here

Surprised to see staying at 5 star hotel they are charging for shampoo and soap. When made reservation breakfast should be included but at arrival they refused to validate the offer.

very bad experience either you stop this hotel otherwise it will spoil the image of THE LALIT.everything is bad staff,room,sevices and with the foriegn guest behavouir is verse. so take care at least our circle never come again and nor we can suggest any one to stay there.
