All was great

Basic room, but the shower head only half worked and the shower door was broken.

The room was great and the staff was exceptionally helpful

Location is fine, rooms are clean and well kept but the place feels a bit abandoned and unloved. Staff is friendly and helpful, but all services (check in, breakfast) are in another hotel across the road, which means there is no security or supervision at all. We were given a room without balcony, which was clearly offered in their listing. Without much ado they gave us a better room, saying they put 'the wrong photo' up and it had to be changed. The wrong photo is still up there, so beware. Beds were absolutely terrible, but on the day we left (!) new matresses were delivered. But wait: no wifi?! Are you even serious? Wifi was only available in a cold, grey, empty room on the first floor, except when we really needed it, it was down completely. This is unacceptable for a three star hotel. Especially since there were clearly hotel networks available in our room, but we didn't get passwords for those.

1 zakje douchegel/shampoo per persoon. Kamer naast de ontbijt zaal veel geluid. Ramen niet goed geïsoleerd dus je hoort heel de nacht en dag auto’s en motors. Personeel niet vriendelijk komen de kamer meerdere keren in zonder reden. Kamer niet schoongemaakt bij 2 nachten slapen. Airco valt steeds uit en word niet heel koud. Nieuwe handdoeken moesten we om vragen bij de receptie omdat de kamer niet opgeruimd was dus alle oude handdoeken opgespaard in de kamer. Er is nog veel meer om op te noemen. Ik heb geen goede ervaring gehad en ik zou het niemand aanraden

Do not, I repeat, do not pay the city tax in cash to Barbara. She is at the front desk and when we arrived she asked for us to pay right away the city tax (6 euros) in cash only. When we checked out there was no register of this transaction. The lady at the front desk called her and she denied to have received it. I sincerely hope the owner of this hotel read this and pay more attention to Barbara’s behavior towards their customers. The hotel is very noisy at night. We heard some other clients complaining about the noise downstairs on Friday and Saturday night as well. The lady in charge of the breakfast room is nice and polite.

non c'era acqua calda per entrambi i giorni. Dopo la prima notte mi era stato detto che il problema si era risolto e l'acqua era effettivamente tiepida ma il secondo giorno è tornata fredda.

The place is horrible. If it had been cheap I wouldn’t complain but it was a $150/night stay. I left the hotel after finding a beautiful brand new boutique hotel 3 blocks away for the same price. The entrance is dirty and scary. You have to ring a bell to be let in and take a dirty dated elevator where the lobby is. The only person working there greets you. He didn’t speak English or Spanish. The bathroom is the best feature. It looked recently renovated. But the bed had a noisy and hard mattress. It was impossible to make the AC work decently…in the Sicilian heat of August! The air coming out was hard to feel. The hallways, the room itself…everything was old and smelly. The paid breakfast was a ticket to go to a bar across the street and get coffee plus a sweet or a salty think (according to the English of the reception person) I threw my money making the reservation. I left and booked another hotel.

Great location, close to a large and cheap car park and to the main attractions in Syracuse and Ortiga. Super friendly staff and a good room. The breakfast was lovely too.

Hôtel proche de l’ile D’ortigia à pied. Mais attention pas de parking réservé pour l’hotel. Accueil réception parfait - mais manque de diversité pour le petit déjeuner. Hôtel bruyant car la rue est très passante de jour comme de nuit - réserver à l’arrière de l’hôtel.

Struttura assolutamente priva di manutenzione dei servizi interni delle camere, soprattutto quelli idraulici sono pessimi, WC con tavoletta rotta, doccia otturata, incompleto cambio degli asciugamani, materassi orribili spacca schiena, rumore insopportabile dall'esterno. Colazione discreta, comunque varia ed abbondante. Come aspetto positivo molto importante c'è la comodissima vicinanza con l'isola di Ortigia di Siracusa. Difficoltà massima di parcheggio gratuito ma vicinissimo ad uno pubblico a pagamento.

This hotel is very conveniently located so that one can walk to attractions both in Syracuse and in Ortigia. Rooms were very simple and very clean. Staff was very helpful.

Nice place easy walk to old city. Does have businesses that stay open late and on busy street with lots of early morning traffic but AC helps eliminate most of that. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast.

Excelente ubicación y muy buenas voistas

Le Muse hotel is located above a disco and four restaurant bars. The disco was directly under our room and the noise deafening until 3 am on the Friday when we checked in. I made reservations for four nights for two rooms but after a completely sleepless night we checked out of the hotel. Street noise is one thing with cars and motor cycles but disco music blasting and 300 people below in the street screaming and shouting until 3 am is impossible! Expedia should be watching out for their customers. We stayed one night and we were willing to pay for one night for two rooms even though we were unable to sleep, but because Expedia did not intervene on our behalf we were stuck paying for four nights in a hotel that was too noisy to sleep in. The hotel offered to move us into new rooms on Sunday but they could not guarantee us quiet. The hotel said they would work Expedia but they lied to us.

Accueil très professionnel et serieux. Chambre très bruyante donnant sur une grande artère sans double vitrage... Très mauvaise expérience le soir à minuit en rentrant à l'hôtel après être allés dîner: 2 clients attendant devant la porte, après avoir sonné plusieurs fois sans succès, nous avons téléphoné à l'hôtel, quelqu'un a répondu mais ne parlait pas italien. Ce n'est qu'au bout de 10 minutes à batailler avec l'autre couple que nous sommes finalement rentrés pour voir qu'il y avait quelqu'un a la réception... Je me suis vu dormir dehors.. . C'est inadmissible! C'est la 1ere fois que cela m'arrive en 15 ans de voyages en Europe... Petit déjeuner assez maigre...

大変気に入りました。1泊だったのが残念です。部屋は広いです。豪華ではありませんが全体がアイボリーで統一されていて、バルコニーからオルティージャ島が見えます。共通のテラスがあったり、共通部分の装飾もセンスが光ります。スタッフは全員女性でとてもフレンドリーです。小さいけれど居心地のいいホテルでした。オルティージャ島で夜食事をしても歩いて戻れる距離です。 朝小さな停電が2回ありましたが、みな騒ぐ様子はなく、シチリアではよくあることなのかな。

Disco bar under hotel blasted music till 3 AM. Did not have hot water for 2 out of 3 days.
