Sea view room had an Emperor bed and overlooked the beach. Useful location for us as we have friends in Ribeira so a short excercise walk to the port and part of river walk around a beautiful area in the country. Superb staff especially our check-in receptionist who was there late evening and early morning

El hotel por la tarde se queda sin agua, ni una gota, todas las habitaciones, me cambiaron a una planta más baja para ver si el agua llegaba al estar más cerca del depósito, pero tampoco llegaba. No pudimos asearnos.

Hubo una situación desagradable, y potencialmente peligrosa. El joven que estaba de turno, claramente no dio importancia y al parecer ayudó. En una de las habitaciones sobre la madrugada llegaron y haciendo escándalo. Fui a escuchar al pasillo a ver qué pasaba, y había dos hombres diciendo a una mujer (niña, tienes que consumir eso,..) todo daba indicios a dos hombres haciendo algo indebido con una mujer joven de no sé qué edad. Sonido de cubetas de hielo y botellas (cuando el bar estaba cerrado, con lo que alguien del hotel lo llevó a esa hora en conocimiento) Pasillo y ascensor con olor fuertísimo a marihuana. El chico de recepción, solo se limitó a decir: bueno, pero llegaron hace poco rato. No hizo nada…

La zona es fantástica. El hotel estaba casi vacío y no me dieron opción a unas vistas al mar o habría pagado la diferencia, no es lo mismo que vistas al parking. La terraza y camas balinesas no estaban montadas porque los días anteriores hizo malo pero el día que estuve yo estaba bien y no pude disfrutarlo. Tuve que ir 3 veces a recepción porque no iban las llaves pero no me cambiaron la habitación. No volveré

It’s a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff are very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and I really liked the fact that the bathrooms had a nice sized bath tub. We’ve stayed here in the past and will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location in bit dated hotel

Hotel itself was very nice. Staff were excellent. Meals and drinks were great. Room was small but clean. Air conditioning unit to cool the room was mediocre. Would liked to have been closer to a downtown nightlife. Overall the place was very good and if we came back to Palmeira or had our friends/family stay there we would recommend the hotel.

Location is beautiful and staff caring and professional but the facilities need urgent renovation. The air conditioning was not working and the heat was unbearable. We decided to cancel the rest of our stay and move to other hotel as the heat wave made it impossible to remain in our room . A real pity.

we were only there one night while passing through the area. beautiful location by the ocean with its own beach and deck with cabanas with a great view. the room was a bit small, and the air conditioning did not work very well - we had to turn it all the way down to get it to kick in. very friendly and helpful staff though, and they have bike rentals to ride along the boardwalk.

Excellent room directly overlooking small bay with beach. Quiet location. Very good breakfast. Would recommend.

Based upon the customer reviews & ratings in addition to its 4-star rating, we were expecting something better. The restaurant food was abismal (lunch), although breakfast had its positive aspects. There were no welcoming or comfortable lounge areas to hang out at in for work/play. The room did have a nice view of the beach. Was good for a night, albeit expensive for what it had to offer.
