El hotel más bonito en el que he estado. El servicio y atención de cada uno de los integrantes simplemente excepcional. En Mayo nos tocó Sargazo y no pudimos disfrutar de la playa ni un solo día. Aún así planeamos regresar pronto. Es un poco triste que casi no haya turistas mexicanos en el Hotel.

Great property. Enough beach and pool chairs. Room was well thought out, great view of ocean. Steamer in room instead of iron was a nice touch. Alcohol was too shelf and drinks were amazing. We are at all the restaurants for dinner. No problem if you tried to eat before 7. Loved no reservations. Great stay, would go back in a heartbeat.

The resort stretches along the coast so there are plenty of seaview rooms. We stayed in building 4 which was great if you prefer quiet and don't mind a little more walking for restaurants. Buildings 1 and 2 are closer to the restaurants and swimming beach. We tried all the food venues except sushi and all of them were really good whether you are in the mood for a relaxed sit down dinner or prefer the speed and variety of a buffet you have good choices. We enjoyed snorkeling in front of the resort and appreciated the great yoga classes. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The fridge was resupplied daily but with all the food and drink options we did not need much in the room.

Un lugar excelente para descansar y desconectarte, el personal muy amable. La habitación con excelente vista , limpia. Sin duda voy a regresar 😃

We only saw turtles when we went out of the resort and paid for the guides. The food from the buffet and room service gave us a tummy ache everyday unfortunately. The drinks were okay, there was not a lot to do to be honest. We had a decent time though and the staff was always there to help.

Our room was fantastic, Alan was a huge help in making our vacation amazing, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful session with their in house photographer Conrado. The on site restaurants were all great, and the buffet always had plenty of options.

Not quite ready for prime time. We had premium rooms and thus the special check in and concierge. Difficult to communicate with over email prior to arrival and no better in person. One day the gym was FILTHY! No towels, no water, no wipes, HOT. No one had checked in for hours. Concierge seemed confused about issue. Making dinner reservations with her was painful. Excellent yoga program. Food at reservation only restaurants is good. Buffet etc mediocre. Breakfast was a sh*! show—tons of staff there, many idling together and chatting and nearly a full contact sport to get coffee, water and a place setting. Buffet staff are an organizational disaster. Grounds are nice. Rooms large and nice. Maid service spotty. No one seemed to notice a drawer in my room had completely come off. So some nice things but you likely can do better for the price.

While the overall stay was pleasant, we experienced a serious issue—money and personal belongings were stolen from our room. We reported it to hotel security, but the response did not reflect the level of service we paid for. This was very disappointing, and we would not stay here again

Akumal Bay has a beautiful beach, clean and well kept amenities, and good food. However, the best part is the genuine, kind, and friendliness of all the staff. There is a positive, joyful climate that makes staying there an absolute treat.

Laundry was fine. Didn’t check out the gym. The rooms could use a full length mirror as well as a makeup mirror. We stayed in the 4000 building

Had a wonderful time here at Akumal Bay! Beautiful view from our oceanfront room and the staff were lovely. It really did feel like a peaceful retreat compared to other AI’s. Everything was clean and the food was good. Unfortunately, there was a lot of seaweed. Not really anything the resort can do other than clean it, but this did take away from the beauty of the beach. Also the Latin dance classes! My husband and I had hoped for a couples class but it was more of a Zumba class. Would be nice to include a couples Latin dance class:)
