It is a lovely hotel with a spectacular log entrance, rustic pub, swim area, coffee shop (with Starbucks). Staff was friendly. We stayed only 1 night in a standard double. It was clean but awkwardly designed (and when peeking in other standard rooms being cleaned, all were the same). The bathroom (shower,tub, toilet only) was so tiny as to be difficult to navigate. It was totally inaccessible - hard to move, deep tub/ no handbar. Sink was in bedroom space. The couch in the bedroom was next to TV facing the opposite wall so no way to. Watch TV except in bed. So despite being a nice looking room, not particularly comfortable.

Even though the was still undergoing some major reconstruction, it was pretty clean throughout. New shower surrounds look and work GREAT!!!

The staff was great and friendly! My family had a great time!

Very nice place but it was during spring break from schools so there was a lot of young children running around everywhere so it was not very quiet.

We've stayed here many times, and have always had positive experiences. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Inside of dresser drawers were dirty. Cafe was closed early due to staff shortage. I couldn't do a room upgrade at the hotel, only thru expedia.com We didn't have time for that with being involved with children. No phone, no radio/alarm. No clock at all in room. Staff was nice. We sure felt less of a respected customer because we booked thru Expedia and didn't pay their price. That is what our impression was. Staff was nice. Kitchen and cafe closed early. SHORT STAFFED Beautiful place, pool area is excellent. Ty Will I return ? Yes But needs improvement with staff shortage and not a hike in rental prices. Ty

I have always liked the convenience of everything offered. However peanut butter on breakfast buffet was separated so was old. Mustard at snack bar was hardened. Grandaughter ordered a starbucks but her flavor wasnt availiable. Dirty washcloth was on showerhead.

Stayed here because of the water “park” - really was just multiple pools with two slides that one could use. We got there and slides closed early, so we couldn’t use them. There were 3-4 pools to use - one was for water volleyball, one for littles and the other was 31/2 ish ft deep. Lots of tables in the pool area. There is a game room across from the pool where you load up a game card to play a variety of games for tickets - skeeball, baskets, Halo, strong man, driving & shooting games - that kept little busy. Hotel was getting a facelift - areas were roped off for work. Which I don’t mind, means the hotel cares. Not sure if I would want to be here in the summer when tourism is in full swing. Didn’t use coffee shop, breakfast or restaurant.

Wonderful staff. Very friendly. Clean rooms and pool area. Good food at The Pub. Very nice waitress we had.

Downstairs neighbors called noise complaints 2 nights in a a row when we walked around after 10. We had 3 young children. There was no party or drinking. We could hear the people above us but never complained. This is not the staff's fault but I will definitely ask for lower level in the future.

I reserved two rooms with the option to pay at counter. The staff was not able to change payments during check in. I travel for work alot and have never had this issue before. I don't know why this was such an issue. Hotel was fine for being under construction at the time of stay.
