We had a good 1 night stay with a 9 year old and a dog. Only negatives were no elevator and door to stairs up to our 2nd floor room was right off entrance door and always locked. This door situation caused a jam up with different groups coming and going. Especially fun maneuvering through more than 1 door if you wanted to take your breakfast back to your room.

Room was clean; however, lamp on the night stand did not work even though switch was turned on. Staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Wide variety of breakfast items.

An older building, but in the process of a good renovation (as of 10/25). No elevator, but steps were easy. Punxsutawney has seen better days, but this hotel is across the highway from a new Walmart and there are several very affordable restaurants within a short drive.

Staff was very friendly and informative, room was nice and clean, and breakfast options were great. If I had to find falut, the only thing I didn't love was the indoor pool was very cold.

Excellent tourist grade hotel. Clean, well managed, friendly staff. Its a great property for a quick stay. We will return one day.

It was nice, they had signs saying thank you for your patience during our renovations. It was clean, lot of new paint, renovations, breakfast was good, no complaints.

Both the man at the front desk when we checked in and the woman in the morning were pleasant and kind. The rooms were nice and the overall look of the hotel was pretty. The pillows were flat and gave me a neck ache, but that is my only complaint. The breakfast in the morning was one of the better ones and we all enjoyed it.

We have been in Airbnb's and hotels in NY and PA from 9/6 to 9/22. The Inn at Punxatawney was the cleanest!! Congratulations staff, excellent job!

Oh, what a disappointment this was. The elevator doesn't work and they're still renting out the second floor... where we ended up. The bathroom looked clean, but reeked of pee, like some sort of nasty gas station bathroom. The beds were very uncomfortable, and I'm pretty adaptable so that's saying something. They also advertised down comforters, which was an outright lie. There was a blood stain on my pillowcase. I'm pretty sure I saw either a drug deal or "soliciting" in the parking lot. Very hard to tell, but my instinct said it was bad. Breakfast was mediocre at best, no options for dairy free creamer or other dietary restrictions. To contrast, I had just stayed in a hotel in the middle of a major city, and that one was top-notch for less money. We were on a schedule, arrived later in the evening, and their was absolutely no time or energy left to find and get to a different place, so we were stuck with this. It's a shame, because it's a cute little town, but this hotel was a disgrace.

I would give a 10 star review if I could! This place is clean, rooms are new due to renovation. Front desk and staff are just wonderful! Love everything about this place! Definitely will stay here next time I come to Punxsutawney!!
