This hotel was truly exceptional! So homey, warm, and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Nice and clean very central to everything.

Very decent place to stay at a prime location in Barcelona. No frills. Basically like if a hostel grew up and cleaned its act up. The breakfast was way better than what I expected after having been told it'd be served at a little nook of a shared kitchen, but they really made the most of the space and served a great meal. The most spectacular feature is the gorgeous ancient elevator in the building. What an absolutely beauty!

Casa Mathilda is beautiful, comfortable, and lovely in every way. The decor was pleasing, the staff went above and beyond to support us during the nation-wide power outage, and the breakfast is done tastefully well. I would be delighted to stay again in the future.

Quiet area near metro stops and restaurants. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Sophia e pela Patrícia. A cama tem lençóis e travesseiros muito macios. O hotel tem um cheiro agradável de casa limpa. O café da manhã é simples e saboroso. Pudemos ficar depois do check-out para esperar nosso voo, tomar café e usar o banheiro. Recomendo muito ficar na Casa Matilda.

The property is well located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean and smells great. We would definitely stay here again.

かなりわかりづらい場所に入口があります。外出して宿に帰る時も通り越してしまうほどです。ただ、ドアを開け中へ入ると、1900年代初期のエレベーターがあります。乗る時も降りる時も手動で開け閉めし、ゆっくり登り降りします。僕は、このエレベーターが大好きです。B &Bスタイルの宿で、お部屋や料理は大したことありませんが、ホスピタリティは良く快適でした。レトロなエレベーター好きな方、B &Bスタイルを楽しみたい方にはおすすめします。

Charming Boutique bed and breakfast in almost the perfect location. Staff has very limited hours. No breakfast before 8:30. they leave at 1700. We arranged for the door code and the keys were in an envelope. Overall a great stay.

Casa Mathilda has an exceptional, cozy environment and vibe that I haven't seen in any other hotels. Also, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Lastly, the location is very convenient for tourists and relatively quiet during the night.

Staff was friendly and nice. The room was dusty. Including the shelves that would be used for storing clothes. The terrace was nice but there’s a school nearby and it gets very noisy during drop off and lunch times making it difficult to enjoy the space.

Had such an amazing stay here! The room was big and, beds comfortable, very cozy and clean and the staff was super nice!!! They held our bags while we went out as they finished preparing the room for us. The space is located in a great neighborhood, we walked everywhere and the metro/train was close by when we wanted to us that. I would totally 100% stay here again when coming back to Barcelona!
