Nice hotel but unfortunately our room was too close to the recycling area and we were woken in the early hours by a bottle collection with crates making a clattering sound. The cold water basin tap was also faulty in the bathroom, no more than a slow trickle sadly.

Very good all round,staff were friendly. We stay there every couple of years on the way to Scotland.

The location was great, close enough to Blackpool to go for the day. The actual building itself is nice and inviting, inside and out. Staff were friendly. Although inside the room, a note from the hotel advising we couldn't bring our own food or drink into the room was a little disappointing, especially when the menu was a little over priced and not much on it to our taste. The room was due a coat of paint, stained walls and chipped paint. The windows were matted in webs. We went for the weekend, it was a great weekend but just a few small things brought it down for us.

A great overnight stay at The Bluebird. We were attending a wedding nearby. Close to the motorway, but in a quiet area. The room was a good size & had everything we needed. We requested an iron & ironing board, and the team brought it up. We wanted food in our room & had to order this downstairs in the bar, wait and bring it up. Not an issue, but the option for room service would have been welcomed. The staff were all very friendly, helpful & welcoming.

Large car park, well lit too plus EV charging. Food is fantastic, true gastro pub, Cask Marque ales and charming staff

Nice small pub/restaurant hotel

This was our third time back at the Bluebird as it's in a very convenient location off the M6, and the breakfast is excellent! The staff were very very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable bar space and choice of craft beers. Cooked breakfast was hot and well presented. Staff were all pleasant, helpful and attentive.
