Location was perfect and staff were very good

Everything generally not up to standard cleanliness across hotel not good. Breakfast poor and cold. Service of bedroom shocking we stayed 7 nights never changed the bedsheets or clean the room. Staff breakfast time helping themselves to food before customers. Never going to stay there again.

Preis-Leistung war vollkommen in Ordnung. Der Ausblick war gigantisch. Die Einrichtung ist zum Teil schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Rooms are well done but lobby and other spaces look a bit tired. Checkin staff were great but the others seemed a bit grouchy.

Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe slow at peak times but you need to understand that food is made to order and NOT premade. Breakfast is a delicious spread of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, with a good selection of breads, fruits and juices. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel.

Do not stay here, possibly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was barely functional, the glass to the balcony was majorly cracked, the bathroom barely stocked with 1 towel and a tiny piece of soap, the fridge was dirty and broken, we had wires coming out of the wall where lights were suppose to be. The food at breakfast was disgusting, I asked for a clean table and they proceeded to seat us at a dirty table without any effort to clean it and left the previous guests dirty napkins! I honestly don’t understand how this hotel is supposedly 4 stars. It should be shutdown.

Fint hotell direkt vid stranden. Fräsch pool. Ligger bra till utefter huvudgatan där det finns gott om restauranger och affärer. Hotellchefen är svensk och hade fint bemötande samt gav tips o,dl Ordnade enkelt en chaufför till vårat nästa boende. Frukostbuffén hade det mesta man kan önska. Rekommenderar detta hotell. Minus att man inte kunde få en öl till maten

Pros: - Hotel personal is welcoming and friendly. - Beach is amazing. The best on in Hikkaduwa. If you enjoy swimming, you will love it. - View from the room is perfect. But you have to book the Premium Ocean View Cons: - Towels are not as clean as you would like them to be - Be aware of bugs in room - Cleaning stuff do not wipe floor and have to be reminded to change towels.

The rooms were very clean and nice. We were very warmly welcomed and the staff was always friendly and very helpful. Very tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.

The place was dilapidated and renovations taking place. Staff was pleasant. However the beds are not comfortable.

Good location

This hotel was amazing- I already want to return! It’s located on the less busy section of the beach which is perfect, the room was stunning with a wonderful view from the balcony and I even had a view of the beach from the shower. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were very good at communicating with me via email beforehand to arrange my transfer and to extend my stay too. The breakfast was nice though I’d recommend booking it in advance as it’s much more expensive to pay when you arrive.

Check in was difficult as they couldn’t find my booking, then we waited a long time after

Very nice rooms - big, clean and good standard. We got a balcony with ocean view and it was great! The service was nothing more than OK. The food was not very good and the hotel lost/or had not been able to renew its drinking license (don’t know the story behind it), so it was not possible to buy any alcohol onsite. This didn’t bother us too much though (there is a wine store across the street if you want a cold beer on the balcony). Overall a decent stay, but not impressed. The hotel could have done minor improvements to make the hotel look much nicer from the outside.

Tämä EI ole neljän tähden hotelli. Allas-alue on ränsistynyt ja viidestä aurinkotuolista kaksi oli täysin romuja. Aamupala oli todella tasoton ja hotelli oli sotkuisa. Remontoidut huoneet oli ok, mutta pistorasioissa oli ongelmia, eikä huoneissa ollut safetyboxia tai hiustenkuivainta. Äänieristys oli olematon ja ovien lukot varsin heiveröisiä. Henkilökunta teki kyllä parhaansa, mutta hotellin taso oli valitettavasti hyvin vaatimaton.

Отдыхали в этом отеле в конце марта 2019 года. В целом очень положительное впечатление. Отель расположен недалеко от вокзала, имеет свой небольшой пляж с удобным заходом, волны небольшие, купаться приятно. Персонал очень доброжелательный. Все номера, и наш в том числе, с видом на море. На день рождения супруги подарили торт с поздравительной надписью. Было очень приятно. Большое спасибо руководству отеля за внимание! Уборка ежедневная, воду приносили каждый день. Мы брали только завтраки. Из семи дней шведский стол был только два дня, остальное время нас обслуживали за столиком, выбор блюд на завтрак был минимальным. В отеле есть небольшой бассейн, нам вполне хватало. Отель вполне соответствует своей цене, мы остались очень довольны.
