Friendly staff, good location, close to several food and coffee options

There were two major events taking place at the hotel, so there was a lot of noise and confusion when I checked in. Also, the parking lot was full. The room was spacious, but the furniture was old and uncomfortable. The bathroom had many problems, including a toilet seat that was too low, not enough room for toiletries above the sink, and an old looking bathtub with a high side and no rail to grab when getting in.

Nice old hotel

Well like most places there nice till it’s checkout time then it’s hurry up get out your treated like an inconvenience even though I spent almost a $1,000 to stay less then a week ! Staff should be just as nice when you’re checking out !

Entire hotel was clean with a staff. Room were as advertised. Nice place

We were told room was in the hotel, room had a door to outside, so old no security all doors wide open, if I was worth my family would not have stayed there.

We love this place! Two stays in the past month, and we’re going back November 1st for the murder mystery event! Can’t wait! If you haven’t been to the gennetti, or windows on 4th your missing out!

Everything has been perfect so far and the staff is very nice.

This is a charming old hotel that could use some sprucing up, however the bed was really comfortable and the shower nice.

Been staying here for years. Continues to be a great value.

It need a serious update with the beds & mattress … The blanket & sheets was very old worn out, uncover sockets,not somewhere that I would stay again …

Close to I-180. Pleasant “retro” style and quiet.

Our first room was filthy and wreaked of cigarettes and mold. It was an exterior room like a motel and just looked completely rundown. We go to the front desk, and get assigned a new room. We get to that room to find the door open. Dirty wet rags on the dresser. An overwhelming stench of mold was coming from the bathroom. We open the door to find it a complete mess, the sink leaking into the cabinet that was full of black mold. We go back to the front desk, show them the pictures, and the manager says “I know what it looks like. I don’t need to see your pictures. I thought they cleaned it up”. Meaning he knew he was putting us in a room with black mold. We get assigned a third room. There was a nasty, stained over stuffed reclining chair. The toilet backed up, and we had to call the front desk. Manager, practically laughing “you guys aren’t having any luck”. At this point we were just over the whole ordeal. Had there been vacancy at another hotel, we would not have stayed.

Beautiful old building, clean everywhere. furniture in room very worn. Rooms need love. The worst air conditioners. Loud, noisy. on and off every couple minutes no matter what setting you put it on. No sleep. Next day the FD said they controlled, we asked them to adjust. 2nd night on.off a little longer in between. We suggest you partner with Penn Tech hvac students and prestigious local contracters to update the building. It would give them experience, respect of older building and someone can probably find a Grant to cover some of the project. We had a drink in the bar 2nd night I (female) went to the restroom, after my business I open stall door to a male with a garbage bag, he quickly ducked into another stall. He didnt say a word. I was washing my hand alongside another female and we were both like what the hell. He didnt come out of that stall while we were there. At checkout the Fd guy could not be bothered to get up and address departing guests. Several of us stood there with our keys in hand, he looked up and said we could leave them there. I will shoutout to the male today 9/21/25 who we saw in several areas cleaning, bent over and picked stuff off floor and outside. We thought it would be a nice change but we are sticking with Marriot.

The bar was awesome. The drinks were amazing. The staff was in bartenders were super sweet. Enjoyed the conversation. Our room was magnificent. Can’t wait to stay again.

They kept my deposit and the room was left in great condition.
