Old hotel far from the center

Really good hotel, only downside was the lack of effort to stop kids from a school trip making extremely loud noise up to 3-4 am.

Hotel Ilissos was one of the most welcoming places in downtown Athens!!! They cared for me like family. The breakfast buffet was beautiful with many options, fresh international cuisine, clean facilities and rooms with incredible views of the acropolis! They helped me find my way with walking, directions the bus and Subway and how to live like a local, even though I was a tourist. I’ll definitely be back!

We really liked this hotel. The bar area upstairs had an amazing view and great bartenders. The hotel was comfortable and convenient.

We absolutely love the staff. We love the convenience of being close by to everything..

Was up all night traveling, while waiting for check in they took compassion and let me check in early. Super

Pulizia e comodità - purtroppo notte rumorosa causa clienti maleducati

We've had an amazing time. From front staff, breakfast and dining to the views and location it was amazing. The 7th floor bar and the team members that served us and provided recommendations are second to. Nicholas, Theodore and Mike are like family to us. We had a wonderful experience and hope to return soon. Thank you Greece!!!!

The room is basic. The staff was friendly. Ok area and you don’t need a car. 20 minute walk to everything you need. There are several restaurants close by. I would not stay for an extended trip. One or 2 nights maximum

Hotel a 5 minuti dalla metropolitana (ma a chi piace camminare in realtà il centro di Atene con le sue attrazioni si raggiunge in circa 20/25 minuti) sito quindi in una zona non centrale ma tranquilla e comunque con ristoranti e servizi (c'è una farmacia poco distante per dire). Camera e bagno puliti e di dimensioni più che soddisfacenti. Buona la colazione a buffet anche se con più scelta nella parte salata che in quella dolce. Bel rooftop bar con spettacolare vista sull'acropoli. Personale sempre cordiale e disponibile, sono intervenuti tempestivamente quando ho segnalato un malfunzionamento all'aria condizionata permettendomi di cambiare camera senza problemi.

L’hôtel est un 3 étoiles. Entrée et accueil satisfaisants. il est globalement bien situé ( dans l’un des 2 meilleurs quartiers) bien que l’environnement immédiat ne soit pas très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est industriel . Le rooftop est très agréable et bons cocktails.

Gostamos muito da acomodação em especial dos lençóis e edredons, muito macios! Café da manhã satisfatório. Os funcionários foram bem atenciosos. Localização de fácil acesso e ponto estratégico para andar de trem pela cidade toda além de ser a 15min a pé de Plaka.

AC didn’t work first night in middle of July in Athens that was disappointing for a 4 star hotel, they moved us to another room next door that initially seemed ok, but gradually got warmer in the morning. We left very early for our sightseeing and came back very late. AC not working in tho the room. We were too tired to change again room and we had very early flight. I mentioned at the checkout about the enconvenient so they could fix for next guest and also to give us a discount. The person at the reception said that these things just happen. I asked him to report my complain to the hotel manager. Never heard back. Sent email as reminder, never responded. Unacceptable!

Bar was there but no bar tender. Did not try room service. Bed comfort was average at best (small pillows, a bit musty too).

The staff was helpful, sweet and forthcoming. They always smiled and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was ok, the staff refilled everything all the time. The juice and the water however was not chilled. The surroundings of the hotel was ugly and not very pleasant.

Neighborhood isn’t the best

Cama confortável, quarto grande, banheiro limpinho. Café-da-manhã variado. O rooftop tem uma vista priveligiada da Acrópole. Staff da recepção super receptivo e prestativo. Meu único ponto negativo foi a internet: dentro dos quartos, o sinal é muito ruim e vivia saindo fora do ar. Tinha que chegar perto da porta pra ele melhorar e às vezes até sair do quarto pra ele voltar.

I had a very pleasant visit at Apollonas and Adonis hotel. The town felt very genuine and the beach not crowded. The staff was very keen on making the stay as good as possible, providing umbrellas and refreshments when needed. I highly recommend the town and the hotel for a calm and peaceful stay
