Wonderful staff, very welcoming and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the view was great, but the window was a bit dirty and the bathroom was fine but not as nice as our other hotels. The location is excellent.

An older hotel with exceptional staff and a fantastic location. The check-in service was phenomenal and I was given thorough explanations of facilities and recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants nearby. I had a Japanese style room with view of the pond out front and while the interior was a bit dated that in itself has its own charm and everything worked as it should. And waking up to a view of the pond with deer casually walking along it was very refreshing! The breakfast was Japanese washoku and was really good, I was served in a private room and got completely different selection of food both days and they were both delicious and exactly the right portion size. A lot of Nara's more popular attractions were just a few minutes walk away and staying here allowed me to beat the crowds and enjoy the spots without any queues. I am really glad I ended up staying in Nara and not just make it a daytrip, I got way more enjoyment out of it this way and will definitively recommend it.

The staff are extremely nice and helpful that made you feel you are truly welcome. I'd like to appreciate Mrs Asano because she made me and my wife feel particularly warm.

Very convenient location to everything you’d want to see in Nara. Deer were literally outside our door as we walked out of the lobby. Viral restaurants and hotspots were down the street yet the area was still quiet enough to get good sleep. The room itself was very basic and needed more furnishing for my taste but it was clean and traditional. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. So, our room was a little overpriced for the amenities but the location made up for it because it is the perfect location.

Centrally located in Nara- stations, shops, Nara Park are all within easy walking distance. Service was impeccable all round. Rooms were clean and private bath facilities were convenient. Thank you.

This was an interesting experience. The room has no private bathroom, but there was no line for their public and private baths on the property. The room is ok, but everything is old and has a certain smell that we had to get used to. The mats to sleep on are old too. The staff was really good and caring.

Beautiful hotel and very very nice staff. Showers in the room were a little dirty but overall a fantastic experience!

Overall the best stay we had on our Japan trip. Shopping streets are close by and so is the Nara parks. The food was wonderful and the staff are amazing and very welcoming.

観光地のど真ん中でロケーションは抜群です。 24時間無料サービス券を頂けるとのことで、チェックアウト後も駐車可能で、翌日は安心してならまち散策を満喫できました。 接客はみなさん素敵な笑顔で丁寧に対応してくださり、とても良い思い出になりました。 室内露天風呂から眺める猿沢池はとても良い景色で、頭寒足熱で最高の温泉気分。味わえました。 ありがとうございました！

일본의 호텔에서 기대하는 모든 것이 있는 호텔이었습니다. 직원들은 너무너무 친절했고, 조식도 정말 맛있었고 목욕탕도 정말 좋았습니다. 방은 좀 오래된 느낌이 있었지만 모든것이 깨끗하고 정돈되어있었어요. 다음에 꼭 다시 오고 싶어요~~

貸切風呂がとても良かった。朝食も豪華で美味しかったです。スタッフの方が皆さんいつも笑顔で対応してくれました。

J'ai séjourné avec mon mari français ( + mes amis français ont séjourné 2 nuits) . La situation de l'hotel est devant Sarusawaike et c'était très pratique pour faire une visite. La chambre était propre, spacieuse et confortable. J'ai profité un bain privé qui était très bien. tous les personnels étaient sympa. C'est dommage que je n'ai pas profité la terrasse pour admirer la vue.. 今回フランス人の主人と1泊朝食付でお世話になりました（友人フランス人達は2泊）。お部屋は清潔・快適でお部屋から眺められるさるさわ池の景色も素晴らしかったです。無料の露天風呂も利用させて頂きました。 残念な事はテラスに行く時間が無かった事です。。。 近鉄奈良駅・JR奈良駅からも徒歩で問題なくアクセス出来、立地がとても良いので、観光に便利でした。 到着時・出発時（特に荷物宅配など）とスタッフ皆様にお世話になり、本当にありがとうございました。
