Property is well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. It’s a very historic property, but has modern amenities.

Beautiful hotel, and restaurant staff were excellent. The food was great. We ate at the restaurant both nights of our stay. The Mimslyn Inn has a great location for all of the attractions in town.

Beautiful location, atop the mountains where one can sit, relax with a cup of delicious complimentary coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Speakeasy is fun although the menu can use a bit of updating to include healthier choices. Hotel is classic elegance, a miniature of the Viking Hotel in Newport (the way it used to be before they modernized it).

It was so fun being at this beautiful historical hotel. Ahhh the staircase! I imagined myself in a beautiful gown walking down it.

Nice hotel, but I wasn't sold that the value was better than the chain hotels. We did not eat at the hotel. Great porch to sit on, although some flowers/plants could have been put into the flower pots instead of being 2/3 full with soil. Good location and easy to walk into downtown.

Our kids had fun staying in a historic hotel. We were just driving through and only stayed one night. We ate dinner at the on-site restaurant, which was decent.

The hotel is very charming. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We had dinner in the Speakeasy restaurant and the food was great. We will be returning next time we are in the area.

Historic character was a plus, great lobby, friendly staff. Bathroom was very small with little space for my things.

Everything was fine. Nice plentiful thick, large towels. Room made up every day. Reasonable price for meals. Walking distance to downtown and greenway. Beds comfortable. TV in odd position but really who watches TV when on an out of town trip. Coffee/tea in central area. Historical indeed.

Fantastic hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Loved the historic building and the hottub was a real highlight.

The breath taking views and quiet town was definitely the vacation these joints needed. The hotel was beautiful and staff was always helpful and available for any questions

Beautiful scenery. Very quiet. There was an event in the lobby and we were housed on the first floor. We could not hear anything. The noises came from the outside window. The shower was amazing. There were 2 highly rated restaurants located on property that we didn’t get to try. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful historic Inn close to the entrance to the Skyline Drive. Quiet, comfortable rooms and both restaurants were very good.

We booked a suite for 4 adults and 1 small child. The pull out sofa bed was about as old as the hotel. The room was much smaller than the internet pictures made it look. In the pictures, there appears to be a large dining table. This table is in a common area outside of room. The staff was great and the food was excellent. We were very disappointed in the size of the room and cleanliness of the sitting area furniture.
