We required an overnight stop to break up our journey. We chose the Buck due to the information, photos and feedback given on Hotels.com app. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't open the night we stayed and the road was being dug up right outside with work commencing at 7.30am. The rooms are a little tired with the curtains requiring attention to cover the window. That's all the negative bits out of the way.
The best bits were the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was fabulous and the shower was good. The Buck is within walking distance of other eating establishments so we were able to find somewhere else to have our evening meal. Parking permit supplied so we could park on the street. Staff were all friendly.
