Really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Made use of the soa faculities and kids entertainment. Room was really spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Great location as right across from beach

We have been enjoying stays at the Dalmeny for a good 6/7 years with some years visiting twice. We were staying one night as we had booked flights to Tenerife and were flying from Manchester. We always enjoy the live band playing on a Sunday night and we settled with a few drinks to watch them. In the past, we have enjoyed ordered a few pizzas for our table for the kids to eat as their dinner but we were told this year that we were unable to do this in the bar now. We were disappointed as we wanted to enjoy listening to the band and knew if we moved downstairs, we would lose our table. We ended up waiting until a little later and we ordered Dominos pizza to be delivered which we ate in our room so the Dalmeny lost our business on food on this occasion. Everything else was fine as we enjoy sitting on the terrace while our kids played in the games room spending their money on the games.

All ok, just a bit run down

Apart from the room being roasting hot it was amazing Recommend air conditioning in the rooms tho couldn’t breathe it was that stuffy.

The spa area, able to go to the gym, swim and use of the jacuzzi.

The Hotel is in a Great place, Enjoying some Beautiful views over the seaside, Great for amenities, lots to do. I would definitely stay here again 👏

The facilities are very good, especially the pool and jacuzzi which are so lovely. The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to assist you, and the rooms are nice and spacious with sumptious comfortable beds.

We stayed on a 2 night trip as a treat to my partner on arrival service was good our room had a,fantastic sea,view was a,nice surprise facilities of pool and jacuzzi to use was a great plus breakfast was a buffet and well presented but little dissapointed on no mushrooms and no wide selection of fruit ie bananas grapes as only apples n orange on offer but overall id stay again no problem

Only fault was toilet roll holder in the wrong place

Didn't like the fact that the fresh fruit bowl at breakfast wasn't topped up when it got low. ..No toilet brush in bathroom.. ...

just a pleasent stay

We used the hotel as a base for watching some shows in Blackpool and it turned out to be an excellent decision. All staff very polite and friendly. Could not fault anything.

Entertainment for the children and swimming pool

the room was dated but clean and warm ,The balcony was was dirty,not that we would have sat out there, as it was not very private, over looked in every way

Really lovely hotel with alot of facilities and opportunities for families to enjoy their stay. Breakfast and the bar areas were clean and well organised. My only disappointment was that although the room had obviously been given the once over and beds changed, there was food litter left in the wardrobe that had not been removed.

Lovely hotel, fab pool- fantastic staff

We stayed for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. Firstly we cannot fault the staff at all, every member of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room with our two young children and the room was not worth the money we paid, it was very dated and the bathroom needed a good clean as when we used the shower head lots of black mould came off the hose. The main reason for our terrible stay is the 2 nights of horrendous noise meaning that we got very little sleep. Noise carries so much throughout the hotel, doors banging constantly, kids incessantly running around the corridors until well after midnight screaming with no parents in sight and an extremely disruptive family playing excessively loud music, screaming, swearing and shouting until after 1am. The hotel staff did quickly address the disruption with the family in question when we called them but unfortunately the experience we had means that we wouldn't want to go back. It was a lot of money to pay for two absolutely rubbish nights sleep!
