Room could do with a bit of general TLC and a deep clean. Brilliant choice for breakfast and the main menus looked good but didnt eat there.

Great Staff, food and the room was lovely. Can’t fault it

We were visiting family for a birthday and wanted a room nearby for the night. The hotel staff were very nice and the room (a four poster) was lovely, warm and cosy. The restaurant side does great food with very good service and breakfast was great. I know the Camden Arms well but have never stayed there before. I have stayed in other hotels nearby but the Camden is very much better. We were happy with the price as well and totally recommend here for anyone viting the area.

Staff were amazing… warm and welcoming… the accommodation however needs a good freshen up… bed was comfy and clean but room was quite dated and felt dark and gloomy, in room tea making, kettle was covered in dust and dirt… curtains had small holes in, the tiles in the bathroom need re grouting due to mold, shower hear mouldy, and shower door was a real struggle to open. A small refurb would bring the room back to life. But overall a nice 2 nights stay

Lovely people. Great food

Cheaper to book through the internet than booking through the hotel's website? strange. My stay was lovely, the pub is lively but not late, the food was good and my room was very comfortable. Parking was a real bonus.

Room was very dark, even after turning on all lamps. In fact, I wore one blue sock and one black sock to dinner because it was so dark, I couldn't tell the difference. Drain smell coming from shower waste in disabled en-suite. Very dark entry through Hotel Reception door during the day. Even though free Wi-fi was advertised, we had a very poor signal in our room and most of the time, got knocked off within 10 seconds. Wi-fi worked great in the bar if that's when you wanted to use it (no). Room was not very clean, furniture and mattress old. Staff were nice. Breakfast was good.

Great hotel

We had a lovely time at this hotel- excellent service, lovely dinner and brilliant breakfast. Comfortable bed and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

Checked in late for an overnight stay travelling on the day after. Very accomodating and good communication, large car park. Room was a nice size with a coffee machine with pods. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, cooked breakfast with continental which comes with the room

In een omgeving met veel standaard hotels is dit een sfeervol alternatief. Achter een sfeervolle herberg is een modernere aanbouw met hotelkamers. Goede bedden en best ruim. Achter de herberg een grote tuin/terras. In de herberg alle sfeer die je zoekt met een uitstekend ontbijt (veel opties). Ook prima plek om te dineren met ook goede opties voor vegetariërs. Tot slot, het personeel doet er alles aan om je thuis te voelen.

Lovely hotel. Stayed in a gorgeous 4 poster room. Really nice pub with good food. Really welcoming and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Nice peaceful room although a little dated, mattress nearing end of life bed headboard very squeaky, bedroom furniture dark and dated, but I would stay again due to easy parking and no noise

Very friendly welcome at the Camden Arms. The room was well appointed and comfortable, with the exception of some dust was clean. We ate breakfast and evening meals here & both were excellent and great value. Again staff were very friendly & welcoming. Will definitely return when in Kent again

Very comfortable bed (both times we have stayed) and excellent breakfast. Comfortable room and clean, modern bathroom with good quality towels. Shower pressure rather variable in the morning. Friendly staff and lovely young woman who served our breakfast. Would stay again.

Only here for one night, but can strongly recommend. Stayed in the 4-poster room and had dinner at the hotel. This is a pub with rooms in the annex. Main building is quite old-fashioned and a little quirky. Lots on pictures, model cars and bookshelves. Very friendly and excelllent service. Dinner and breakfast very good. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

The staff were helpful. The bed room was small but the bathroom was excellent. The kitchen staff were very efficient and the breakfast was delicious. Recommended.

There was nothing we did not like, the staff, facilities, cleanliness, food, drink, everything was to a very high standard, we were not surprised to see the multitude of awards. The best hotel stay we've had in a long time. We will be back.
