A nice, cost effective hotel. Some trouble with the a/c.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel's air-conditioning was superb, kept us cool during day break and overnight. Very peaceful sleep. Location is great too. Won't hesitate to recommend to friends

Great location — close to shopping, restaurants, and transportation. The staff were generally friendly, and overall I enjoyed my stay. The only issue I experienced was with the hot water. On the first night, I thought I might have been using the faucet incorrectly, and since it was quite late, I did not report it. As a result, I had to take a cold shower that evening. On the second night, when I returned to the hotel, I spoke with the receptionist about the issue. He mentioned that the boiler was probably not working properly. While I understand that problems can happen and that there may not have been an immediate solution available late at night, I felt that a simple apology for the inconvenience would have been appreciated. The response came across as somewhat frustrated, which made the situation a little disappointing. I did have some warm water that night, enough for a quick shower, and after reporting the issue again on the third day, the hot water was finally restored. I understand that equipment can occasionally fail, and I do not blame the staff for a problem that occurred late at night. My only suggestion would be that, in situations like this, a few kind words, an apology, and a polite explanation can go a long way toward helping guests feel valued and understood. Despite this issue, I enjoyed my stay and would still recommend the hotel because of its excellent location and overall positive experience.

A localização é excelente, principalmente para uma primeira visita à Lisboa. Fica perto dos pontos turísticos. O ar condicionado do quarto não funcionou direito. Mas, do resto tudo ok!

Stayed in one of the superior double rooms, it was perfect for what I wanted. Pretty decor. Great to have kettle and mini fridge in room as I like to make my own tea in morning and at night. Spacious and well appointed bathroom. Good quality hairdryer. Nice toiletries. TV had lots of channels but mostly Portuguese language. I could not figure out how to change the volume on it with the remote control - maybe instructions card would be useful. It was good to have usb connections near bed for charging phone. Wifi good in room. Lift available and decent size for an older European building! My room was up in eaves of building so wasn't a great view out windows from bed or seating area, however lots of natural light could still come in. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that. Lots of cafes nearby. Great location for access to Baixa-Chiado metro station, closest entrance has escalators to street level so ok for coming with suitcase by metro from airport. Overall great stay in Lisbon, would recommend.

Excellent hotel and great location with great staff. Like most European hotels, the rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was below standard but the staff kindness made up for it

Great location, fast internet, clean rooms, friendly staff and the breakfast was delicious!

Excellent location - close to the river, Rossio station, trams and many restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast doesn't offer a great deal of choice but we never felt that we missed anything.

Helpful stuff

Het hotel ligt op een goede locatie in een voor toeristen interessant deel van de stad. Het bed was comfortabel, de kamer werd goed schoongemaakt en het personeel was vriendelijk. Dat zijn duidelijke pluspunten. Daar staat echter een aantal minpunten tegenover. De hele nacht is het geluid van voorbijrijdende auto’s goed hoorbaar. Daarnaast zorgt de verlichting van het hotel aan de overkant ervoor dat de kamer ’s nachts niet echt donker wordt. De badkamer liet te wensen over. In de randen van de tegels zat schimmel en er hing regelmatig een rioollucht, die soms ook de kamer in trok. Door lang water te laten lopen verdween die geur wel. Opvallend was dat die rioollucht ook bij de receptie te ruiken was bij het inchecken. Het ontbijt was een tegenvaller. De ontbijtzaal heeft geen daglicht en het aanbod was zo beperkt dat ik ervoor heb gekozen om ergens anders te gaan ontbijten. Ook de wifi roept vragen op. Alle gasten gebruiken hetzelfde wachtwoord. Dat biedt wel basisbeveiliging, maar geen afscherming tussen gebruikers. Voor algemeen gebruik is dat prima, maar voor vertrouwelijke zaken minder geschikt. Kortom, het hotel heeft een goede basis, maar voldeed niet helemaal aan mijn verwachtingen door de genoemde punten.

Stayed for seven nights this April. It was okay. Don’t recommend adding the breakfast to stay because the options weren’t good and wasn’t worth it. The room I stayed in did not have a fridge. There was construction going in on during my stay. There was a weird odour in the lobby of hotel sometimes. Overall, decent, but I expected better for the price.

We spent six days at The 7 Hotel and had a wonderful experience in March . The location is perfect, within walking distance of almost all the major tourist attractions and lots of bar and restaurants . The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff was professional and very helpful throughout our stay. While the elevator was out of service for one day, the overall quality of the service and the convenience of the location more than made up for it. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lisbon.
