The room was lovely and clean, windows opened great during the hot weather, accompanied by a fan, thank you. Tea and coffee supplied. Water would have been an added bonus but we brought this up from the bar. The first key we had, we had a few problems with, but the second key worked great. We bought breakfast as an add on and this was very well presented and great 10/10. Would definitely return. Thank you.

Lovely room overlooking pedestrianised street. Obviously noisy in evening as is above pub. Quite steep stairs to room. Fine for us, but may be awkward for anyone with mobility issues. Bathroom was a couple of steps from our room; but was exclusive to us with our own key. Staff very helpful and friendly. They let us leave our cases in storage for the entire day ! Would go back.

I have stayed here a few times and I would recommend it. The room is comfortable, the staff are friendy. A great cooked breakfast, a livey bar with good food options. It can be noisy for early nights until the bar closes and with bin collections in mornings but that's fine (not a problem with earpugs). A charming location and a place I expect I will return to.

Although the stay was okay, the locality was very noisy and we were told as we were shown the room that there was live music that night. It was directly beneath our room. So perhaps something needs to be advertised in the listing that the venue has live events in an ongoing program.

The room was okay, and the employees were nice. The issue was that we were not made aware they had live music on Friday and Saturday evenings before arriving. The band was right below our room and made the walls shake. They did stop as scheduled at 23, but music from a soundsystem continued until around 1, keeping us up. we were supposed to stay to night, but decided to leave after one. The hotel did refund us for the night we didn’t stay, but we were told they would contact us regarding the night we did stay which hasn’t happened.

after checking in they informed us that they were not doing food after 4pm we had not been informed of this they said it was they only had one chef so we checked out i booked this in november and there was no indication that there was a problem on their website they stated they they were serving food until 9pm if they had contacted me to let me know that they had a problem and were not doing foood i would have cancelled

Everything ran smoothly and was good value for money. Pleasant staff, lovely spacious room and excellent breakfast.

Great staff, lovely clean room but nowhere in bathroom to put anything down (room 6). Need to box in pipe behind toilet so at least that could act as a small shelf for toiletries. Be aware if there is live entertainment that the rooms are noisy with vibrating music. We knew about this from previous reviews so were prepared. We had a beautiful Sunday lunch here and breakfast d’or the 3 days we stayed was hot and tasty.

The room was ok and the bed comfortable. The room is described as having a private bathroom, which is a cross the hall from bedroom. However the bathroom is 'tiny' Being 6'3" the toilet was almost impossible to use The shower toilet and sink rammed into a space approximately 1m by 1m. In reality this 'bathroom' was in usable thankfully we were only there for one night.

The staff was friendly and check in was easy. Information on where to park would help. Navigating the narrow streets looking for parking was a nightmare. There is parking about a half mile away costing about 12$ for the night.

Nice room with a large comfy double bed, overlooking Butchers Walk, with associated noise levels. With Monday being bin day (~7am), the Bull Inn put the empties of the week out at 6am, alarm clock no longer required. The private bathroom is across the corridor and suited for slender folk, not so much 20+ stone behemoths. Barring that, I slept well and the rate was competitive.
