Wij hadden de pech dat het heel heet was en dat er live muziek was precies onder onze kamer. Niet onze smaak. Pub was smoezelig maar kamer eenvoudig maar prima schoon

I booked a deluxe double but wouldn't class our room as deluxe . The wardrobe base had collapsed, the large sash window was held open by a plastic coat hanger & there seemed to be mould in the corner of the ceiling . Staff were friendly & the breakfast was very tasty. The bedroom needs redecorating.

No breakfast option until 7.45 am Never known a hotel to be so late. And not provide pastries, fruit etc which could be picked up on way out.

Fantasyice. The beds were comfy and soft. The whole staff were incredible. The beat place to stay in sandwich.

Very pleasant and staff for excellent

The location of the hotel was wonderful; right in the centre of Sandwich. No on site parking but the market car park was only a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and efficient and check in was quick and easy. The room was small but clean with a comfortable bed. It took a long time for the hot water to arrive but when it did the shower was good with nice big bath towels. My only complaints were that the wifi was dreadful/non existent and, contrary to their website, no hot breakfast was served only a polystyrene breakfast box left in the room. Had I known this in advance I may have booked alternative accommodation.

Very pleasant stay but pub downstairs is noisy

The Hotel and venue was good but due to the age of the hotel the rooms could do with some tlc - the bed was confortable - the food was good. The hospitality was good.

All fine. Friendly reception, very decent breakfast, all satisfactory. Very central if you want a look around Sandwich.

A pleasant, town centre hotel. We enjoyed the friendly staff, decent, if somewhat dated, room and lovely food and beverages at reasonable prices in the pub/restaurant. As stated, the room was dated but clean. Only a few issues… The tv was visible from the sofa but not from the bed. Also, it was a Friday night with live music downstairs. Our window looked out over the front door so those hanging around outside were easily heard and did keep us up until after midnight. I knew of this issue ahead of time and was planning on being downstairs and enjoying the music myself, but a migraine sent me to bed early so the music and partying became an issue. However, if you plan on staying up late, you may enjoy it as the pub seemed to have a lovely, fun atmosphere. Can’t complain as the problem was mine. The town of Sandwich was lovely and hope to come again sometime. Would stay here again.

Great location, clean large rooms and lovely breakfast. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. It is a pub so be aware it can be noisy at closing time if you have a room at the front of the property.

Large room, comfy bed. The room seemed worn, and the shower did not work properly, the was almost no pressure and there was no way to regulate the temperature. We had to shower i cold water, and there was so little water pressure that we had difficulty rinsing off the soap. We were in sandwich for a wedding so not beeing able to shower properly was unfortunate. We talked with the staff about this the first day and they said they would look at is, but they never did. The location was great.
