What a view! The moon pool is stunning! The Forrest school for the kids is perfect as they learn a lot vs traditional kids club. The breakfast is up to Relais and Chateaux standards with a view over the Ocean. We also experimented the SPA and the quality of the treatment was excellent. I would come back and highly recommend it for couples or family with kids.

Gorgeous property, the view from the restaurant is stunning, the grounds were spotless and the staff incredible. Small beach and not the beach swimming.

Very calm and peaceful. The people who work there are very nice and friendly. They gave us an extra upgrade, so we had our own villa with pool. We love this place with the wonderful garden and animals.

An immaculate resort. Fantastic food, service and facilities. We have been before and will certainly come again.

Amazing place staff and food out of this world

From the moment you step into cape welligama to the moment you leave, you are being looked after by the staff with such immense care and attention to detail. The responsiveness and personalisation is excellent, and a level of service I have not encountered in any hotel before. The resort is well set up for young families, and our room had easy access to what felt like a very private swimming pool. The swimming pools are set to have great views, and we had monkeys and peacocks come to say hello. The food was delicious and dinner menu changed every night. The chef came to ask for feedback regularly and even made a custom dish on request. The rooms feel large and open, yet are warm and cosy, with great modern facilities. The property benefits from being fairly new, versus other more grand yet tired hotels we stayed in our trip in Srilanka. Overall a beautifully maintained, scenic hotel with great facilities for children and an amazing service.

Very attentive staff, stunning location with wonderful facilities. The views from all parts of the hotel were breathtaking. If you like surfing, there’s an excellent left hand reef just minutes from the hotel. Would highly recommend, it was the highlight of the trip.

가격대비 좀 아쉬운 곳입니다 익스피디아에서 제공한 주소는 완전 잘못된 주소였고 그로인하연 찾아가는데 8시간 이상 소요되는 어처구니 없는 일까지. 발생되었습니다 익스피디아에서 보상해 줄까요?

Amazing resort. Our villa was enormous and shared a pool with two others. Main swimming pool was spectacular. Restaurant served excellent (though pricy) food and the service everywhere was exemplary. Difficult to go back to regular hotels now.

Absolutely wonderful experience. We treated ourselves as it was a significant birthday and we were not disappointed. Our only issue was that the choice of food was so expensive it could have done with a range. Similarly , for the prices paid it seemed that some of the activities could have been provided as complimentary for example some water sports or spa treatments. We would have liked to visit local restaurants but there are not really any nearby and two of our party arrived ill so we needed to eat in the resort. Apart from that it was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. The rooms we had were one above the other. Ours was easily accessed but our companions (adult offspring) was almost inaccessible. Would have been better to have rooms next to each other. Instead we had a very noisy family with many children next door. They gave us the most wonderful evening to remember for my birthday which was absolutely magical!

They care for you in every aspect, the food was consistently superb, we had a three course dinner every day including sashimi and tartar as starters, a very nice mix of locally inspired and international food selection. The chef especially cared for the desires of our young ladies 9 and 10 years old. The hotel resort itself s luxurious in evry aspect, golf cara hover you around, the views are sheer stunning. A higlight s the moonppol infinity edge. Galke s very close and worth a visit, we also embarked on a great safari trip to Udawalawa. We miss caoe Weligana so much and will surely return.
