Property was ok. Comfortable beds. Good location. Dog friendly but nowhere on property for the dogs to relieve themselves. Had to walk a ways to get a patch of grass. Issues checking in. Others were waiting for an hour. Had to wait on certain staff to show up to work for check in to be allowed. First time using the microwave, lost all power to our room. Took a while for staff to come help as they seemed to be understaffed and then wanted us to come back and forth to the front desk as they didn’t have staff to cover. The journey to front desk is annoying as it’s in a separate building. Not ideal. Especially with room issues they should have been more accommodating and helpful. We did eventually get switched to another room however the ramp to get to the door was directly in front of our balcony and we were on the first floor. Had to keep curtains completely shut for any privacy at all so totally defeated the purpose of booking waterfront hotel. No compensation was offered for the inconvience of the room issues and then giving us a room that was sub par for what we paid for. Would have spoke to a manager but like I said, staff not very helpful and nobody else was available to help. Will not be back. Breakfast was lovely and our waitress was a doll.

The two bedroom room was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was excellent as well. The only downside was that the hot tub was not working, and there was no mention of this beforehand. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay!

Ocean front, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I will always stay here eventhough there is no elevator to the higher floors. It is a walk to the lower levels with a lot of stairs but the view and room and everything else is amazing. It was quiet, so calming, always had park. A automatic door would be nice to come into the hotel if ur hands are full but minor. Lobby is relaxing clean and beautiful. Food is amazing and judy rocks! Also the Thai coconut spa downstairs is to die for

Bathroom fixtures required fixing, otherwise nice,clean, and quiet

Ocean view was beautiful. Noise easily carried through from adjacent room. Breakfast was not as advertised. The included breakfast was a very minimal buffet with no included protein. Patio door on ground floor did not lock. The room had an unpleasant order.

Room was very functional. Clean and met expectations.

The views are amazing!

Nice clean room and motel and it's pet friendly. Stayed one night with my dog on a road trip and the location is perfect for exploring Campbell River by car, right between all the great beaches and the downtown area.

Excellent breakfast which was included. Reasonably priced, comfortable beds.

Ocean views the best in town

We know Anchor Inn from years of living in Campbell River. We found the hotel to be aging. the AC was very noisy and had to be shut off to allow for any sleep. Greeting at front desk was very warm and informative.

The good: Prices are decent, rooms are reasonably clean, views from all rooms are terrific. The bad: Old and dilapidated building, drug addicts walking around brokering drugs deals in the common areas, facilities are in disrepair and haven’t been updated since Nixon was President. We booked a 2-bedroom to have a separate space travelling with our infant and their staff was very suspicious and trying to insinuate that we had extra adults, since they charge for that. They even gave us a different room to start with that had one bed and a large open area. This hotel needs to do a better job of screening out the unsavoury characters and not about a normal young family staying in a suite.

Our visit started wonderful. Breakfast was sooo un organized and not staffed, when hotel was completely booked. Ended up leaving and going to a local restaurant. The couple we were traveling with both of us had no hot water the whole weekend we were there. No showers for us. Straight cold water.. not pleased.. then was offered 10 percent discount after complaining twice to the front desk staff. Definitely think about your stay..

The location is right along the ocean. The building is old but they have made renovations. Toilet in room rocked when sitting on it, not properly mounted. Restaurant was a disappointment, service was good but food wasn’t that exciting. Breakfast was disappointing as there was hardly anything left.
