The hotel is small, with only a few rooms, which makes it quiet, clean, and full of character. It has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the location is excellent. The staff were truly friendly and wonderful, and the breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic location in Lagos. Super cute facility, very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice common sitting areas, both inside and out. There is no lift/elevator, and 2 of the rooms are: down a small set of stairs, then up a long circular set, then up another long circular set. Be ready for that with luggage! The staff are happy to help with that. And some of the rooms don't require so many stairs. The free public parking lot is a 3-5 minute walk on uneven cobblestone. It can be very busy/full. The streets are narrow, one-way, and not on a grid so getting to the parking lot when you are unfamiliar with the area can be more challenging than you might expect. Be prepared for a little bit of "arrival frustration."

Charmant petit hotel (ancienne maison réconvertie) peu de chambres, personnel agréable et acceuillant. Avec un petit patio interieur avec une petite piscine, et un salon calme, pour être seul ou partagé avec les autres résidents. Petit-déjeuner uniquement. Situé au-dessus de la place centrale (touristique), mais aussi proche des cafés-bar-restaurants "locaux" (mieux servis et acceuillis que dans l'attrape-touristes), et à ~10min à pied du bord de mer et plages.

This place was ok. No staff was there when we arrived and rang mid day but a phone call fixed that. The staff person was welcoming and friendly once we met her. The stay was average-to-good. The good: it’s a decent location near the center of Lagos but away from the main drag and all its activity and noise. It was clean. What could improve: They didn’t provide enough toiletries for example shampoo and soap to last through the stay. The furnishings felt dated. The safe was not large enough to hold a laptop. It didn’t feel like there was a lot of privacy for example in terms of hearing the rooms next to you but this is to be expected in an old guesthouse. Overall I would not stay there again. Other people might enjoy it more.

Buen alojamiento, con una piscina pequeñita pero que al volver de la playa se agradece. Está muy cerca de todo y a 3 minutos hay un parking bastante amplio en el que un sábado de agosto no hemos tenido problema para encontrar sitio.

Communication was excellent, location very central in Lagos, great breakfast, and the little extras (a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates) made our stay comfortable and memorable!

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour dans la résidence. Nous avons été très bien accueilli à notre arrivée. Le personnel du petit-déjeuner a été à nos petits soins durant tout le séjour. La résidence est très bien situé dans le centre de la vieille ville de Lagos , près des petits commerces et restaurants , à quelques minutes à pied du port de plaisance et de la petite gare ferroviaire. La chambre est très bien équipée, petit frigidaire pour les boissons fraiches , climatisation...( le seul petit bémol me concernant a été la literie, matelas trop dur ). La habitacion era demasiado pequeña, lo mismo el baño. En nuestra estadia de cinco dias estuvimos realmente incomodos. No habia donde apoyar las cosas que generalemnre uno tien cuando viaja. El frigobar hacia micho ruido y se notaba que era basta viejo. La ducha y el baño eran realmente muy pequeños e incomodos. El desayuno podria ser mejorado. Si bien las instalaciones estan cuidadas y es una casa prolija, ES MUY CARO PARA LO QUE ES. No volvemos.

Wonderful property. The lady working the front desk was super sweet, accommodating, and very knowledgeable of the surroundings. She gave us some good food recommendations and made the whole process very simple. I can’t wait to return.

We wanted to stay somewhere quite central and the Residence Lagos was perfect for this, just a 3 minute uphill walk from the square. The hotel is tastefully decorated throughout and is spotlessly clean. We arrived early but the host was very welcoming and quickly made sure that our room was ready. A complimentary bottle of wine, water and fruit in the room was a nice touch, as is the complimentary port. The breakfast was very nice, consisting of fresh croissants, bread rolls, ham, cheeses, boiled eggs, cake, fruit, yogurts and jams, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice available on request. The hotel is quite small but has a cosy feel and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for breakfast and in the afternoons. All in all a lovely place to stay.
