The service was superb. We were pleasantly surprised when they picked us up at Yudanaka station as we did not arrange for it. Suspect another guest arranged and we were lucky that we arrived at the same time. Although the place is old, the facilities were well maintained. We were treated to a local drum and dance performance as a tour group staying in the same place has booked it. The food were full course Japanese traditional dinning and breakfast. FOC shuttle service to Snow Monkey Park was a major plus. We visited Obuse for a self guided tour recommended by the hotel staff whom was able to speak mandarin. The public hot spring bath is well equipped. It has indoor and outdoor bath that allows you to enjoy the sunset. Take note they swap the gender of the bath daily so you may enjoy all their bath facilities. Coin laundry and Lawson convenient store are a short walk from the place. Overall, it is worth the price. Btw, bath tax (150 yen each) is not included.
