The place is horribly dirty. There were mouse droppings under the pull out bed. I tried To contact the owners the never responded me. I will Not recommend this place at all.

As with all personally owned homes we had to call the owner or rental agency to get passwords and/or codes to enter the house upon arrival. We did just that and were told that in fact instead of the " Inside Yosemite Mountain Beauty", we were given " The Winter Wonderland " property. The couple that we were meeting there were already ahead of us and because we were in the mountains neither of us had any phone communications. We WASTED 4-5 hours just trying to find each other!! Each time we spoke with the owner there was complete confusion on her part and always said she would call back in " 15 minutes " which she didn't do and I would have to call her back. In addition there was mold in the showers, dust and debris in some light fixtures and stairs leading up to the front porch that needed to be reinforced. All of this being said, while i am a frequent user of Hotels.com for a hotel room, I'll not use them for individuel properties.

The location is great. The house at the first glance is great, but several maintenance issues discounted our stay. The faucet tap of shower at the bathroom on the first floor is broken. My wife and I had to use one hand to hold the tap to have a hot water shower. The flush of toilet at the one of the bathrooms on the 2nd floor doesn't work well. So, my friend couple had to get down to use toilet. The bedstead in the main bedroom on the 2nd floor is so fragile that it was broken in the morning of the second day. When I called the Management to report the problem and ask for help, nobody answered the phone. We got no response even I left messages for twice. We had to help another couple to move the mattress to the floor. Otherwise, they wouldn't have a space to sleep on the 2nd night. Except the above issues, the overall stay is comfortable.
