Meine Familie und ich wollten 2 Nächte in La Fortuna verbringen, aber auf dem Weg dorthin hatte ich eine Reifenpanne – irreparabel. Ich möchte mich persönlich beim Besitzer Yeudy bedanken, da er alles getan hat, um mir zu helfen. Er hat mir seinen privaten Parkplatz angeboten, damit ich mein Auto in der Nähe der Luftpumpe abstellen konnte, um weitere Schäden an der Felge zu vermeiden, während die Werkstatt nach einem Ersatz suchte (275/45 R21 sind in La Fortuna nicht leicht zu finden). Das Personal ist freundlich, das Essen und die Preise im Restaurant waren angemessen. Zur Unterhaltung gibt es 3 heiße Whirlpools und 2 große Kaltwasserpools. Im Garten kann man Wildtiere wie Tukane oder Leguane beobachten. Die Poza El Salto und Arenal Mundo Aventura sind zu Fuß erreichbar, und das Zentrum von La Fortuna sowie andere lokale Attraktionen liegen nur 1–2 km entfernt. Für mich eine absolute Empfehlung, und ich würde sehr gerne wiederkommen!

Room was clean, breakfast offered 3 options, a restaurant being on site was very helpful after a long day hiking. Very grateful for their being air conditioning. Loved the convenience of the location being outside the hussle and bustle of the center and traffic in town. Would most definitely stay again! Staff spoke some English.

The rooms were ok. The bathrooms were smaller than expected and felt cramped. Includes breakfast was nice. Close to downtown La fortuna.

The property was spectacular , the staff was friendly. The pools were clean and the restaurant food was great 😊

We loved our stay (during low season) at Las Orquideas. We were close to town to walk and enjoy local Soda's, adventure, etc, yet far enough out that the noise level was good. My family loved the pools, hot tubes and beautiful landscaping on the property. Las Orquideas meals were amazing - the daily breakfasts included and the occasional supper we splurged on. The evening server, Esteban, was so friendly and helpful supporting us with local attractions and places he personally recommends or knows the tourists enjoy. Staff were available till 10pm to help and were constantly cleaning and landscaping the grounds/rooms. We enjoyed Las Orquideas that we would totally go back if we are in the La Fortuna area. Un lugar muy tranquilo, lleno de naturaleza y el sonido del río que lo hace más relajante. No me gustó la posición del tele en la habitación 202, casi en el techo, como sugerencia deberían bajarlo un poco! Lo demás excelente

The grounds are very beautiful. That was probably the best part for me. Our room left some to be desired. Whim comfortable enough it could definitely use some renovations. Our view was of the laundry are in the back of the office building.breakfast had only 2 options but it was sufficient. While walking distance to town it's a good 20 minutes so keep in mind for rainy or really hot days. Best part was definitely the pools(clean) and grounds which has beautiful plant life and birds. Staff was friendly and nice too. For the price this hotel was sufficient.

Wow, just wow! This hotel exceeded my expectations. Grounds are gorgeous! The sound of the river and the rainforest while lounging in the pools felt like heaven. The pool area is beautiful. The restraunt and staff top notch. El Salto swing a 5 minute walk away. This is where you want to stay. We will be back.

Todo bien, el desayuno puede ser mejor es un poco escaso. Había una cucaracha en el apartamento pero son cosas que pueden pasar. Todo lo demás muy bueno.

We loved our stay. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the pool. Liked having a restaurant on the property and how close it was to town, yet secluded and quiet. Highly recommend. Also recommend Pure Trek for canyoning and Arenal Mundo Adventura for Zip Line. Wished the kitchenette was more equipped with utensils for cooking like large spoon, spatula, mixing bowl, knife, etc.

Our room was very large and the bed was comfortable. Overall the rooms are quite dated but it was clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and they allowed us to store our bags and use the pool while we waited for our room. The breakfast was good and substantial and our dinner there was excellent. There was no safe in our room which we would have appreciated. The grounds were absolutely stunning and well cared for. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Very nice property with beautiful landscape. They have a restaurant with complimentary breakfast. The room could use blackout curtains and softer beds but overall we were comfortable.

This hotel provided us with a great stay :) Air conditioning that worked great in the bedrooms, daily cleaning services, kind staff and a great location - walking distance to the El Salto rope swing. We enjoyed many hours at the pool and loved the included breakfast each morning.
