What a wonderful stay. Host was so kind and helpful. Perfectly located for coastal rambles or catching the shuttle train (on the doorstep) further afield. The room was clean and well furnished and the continental breakfast was plentiful (I recommend the home made chocolate granola!) - it kept me going on my walk into Ennerdale.

We stayed at LuLus the night before starting the C2C hike. The location is very convenient to the train station and within walking distance to several restaurants, and the trail entrance. Our room was clean and comfortable, and our host was welcoming.

Owner could not have done more for us. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and the room was perfect. Breakfast was great and we were able to access it at 4.30 before the coast to coast ride!

We were greeted in a super friendly and warm way and made to feel like true guests. Excellent space and facilities we'd definitely come back. Top marks

Landlady was very sociable and helpful. Accommodation was clean and tidy and bed comfortable. No cooked breakfast but plenty of everything else so no complaints

Lulu was lovely and the rooms were clean and well stocked. We booked the loft apartment to have more room. She included continental breakfast even though it wasn't included in our booking. The bed was comfy. Lulu's is a lovely old railway station with three pubs nearby. The village is very small but has a post office and a few shops. The beach is half a mile away.
