Second stay at The Bay Horse Inn. Room was comfortable but warm. Breakfast was good served by very friendly staff. Only grumble would be that they started to clean the room before we'd left which made us feel a little unwelcome. Apart from that our stay was comfortable and exactly what we needed for an overnight befor heading on holiday

Very charming property with just a few rooms and a nice restaurant and very nice staff. WiFi was fast, but worked only in some rooms. Food was great.

Rooms were ok could do with a little TLC - Cobwebs, badly fitted toilet seat, dirty cups in the room. Beds were comfortable and clean

We stayed in a family room, reasonable size, clean and tidy, with kettle tea and coffee facility, smart tv in the room, we only stayed for 1 night and overall everything is fine.

Great food, great drinks, very friendly staff and lovely setting

I was fined for parking at the hotel. It said free parking on Hotels.com. I wasn’t asked for my registration when I checked in. I complained to the owner who said he would get it sorted. I sent him the fine which he asked me to do and he then said that’s the best you’re going to get. What a joke.

A beautiful area, lots of lovely houses,quiet and xareful drivers. Nice pub food and the postshop/ cafe was lovely, fantastic coffee and sweet treats. The Bay Horse, wasn't available until 3pm door locked so just be aware if you arrive early. Will definitely be back.

Toilet seat poorly fitted almost unusable. Seat wouldn’t stay up and was too far back to sit comfortably. It had started to split apart

A great place to stay and visit around York, Knaresborough, Harrogate area. Rooms are very accessible and have everything you need. The cooked breakfast was amazing. A great place to stay

The rooms were really great. We had our dog and they had placed a bed and treats n our room for her which was really very nice. Food was great and pud was really cool as well. Defo stay again.

The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent as were the rooms and the pub itself. Would definitely stay again

The Bay Horse Inn was exceptional value for money, the food was excellent (especially the steak and ale pie). Jon was a GREAT cook and host and if back that way would use The Bay Horse Inn again - totally recommend. Trevor and Lyn Downs 👍

Only complaint is the shower in Rm 9 was running hot and cold. Impossible to regulate

Checked in late but although they had stopped serving food, they were able to sort me out.Good clean room and good breakfast. Highly recommend.

Spent 2 nights at the Bay Horse, very clean rooms, good stock of tea and coffe and was replenished. Lovely breakfast and very friendly.
