Good rooms but no air-conditioning.

Excellent hotel for a quick stopover after a flight. Only thing that let it down was the breakfast. The cooked options were not of good quality. Odd tasting beans and tinned mushrooms were unpleasant. However that aside it was decent.

A little worn down now needs a refurb

A great stay Very handy after our day out and close to where we needed to be next day Staff were very helpful and friendly and room was clean and comfortable

Terribly unhelpful staff only interested in money. Happy to charge for a stay that did not take place after they were informed of serious injury preventing stay.

Location wasn't ideal. Parking was expensive if used for overnight airport parking when early doors for travel. Very noisy with guests banging doors and outside due to location. Comfortable bed & pillows, ensuite small.

Nice place no AC

As it was the hottest day tommorow I was abit let down that there was only one tiny fan In a king size room which I upgraded to thinking the ac will work I paid extra for my stay but the ac was not even working was hard to sleep and didnt really enjoy my stay as the heat was to much and the fan was giving out hot hair

The staff werr

Kept awake most of night with partying people. No tea or coffee in rooms only downstairs. Would not stay again. Breakfast not available, waited till after 715am then left.

OK as a pit stop for an early Luton Airport flight but location is quite rough, building showing its age, parking iffy (we chose to leave the car in the shopping mall overnight under a video camera.

My stay at Thistle was quite brief as I arrived late in the evening and went to the airport quite early in the morning. The hotel staff were absolutely brilliant, they were friendly and efficient. The room was ok, clean and fine for one night. The one thing I did not like much was the noise you can hear from the street.

Avoid at all costs. The hotel had overbooked the rooms, so we didn’t get the rooms we booked. It took 45 minutes to check in, not because there was a queue, that’s literally how long the manager took to check us in. There were no curtains in my room, it was literally a bare window. Breakfast was late (ok when it came out though). The noise through the night was relentless, with performance cars driving past constantly which woke me up every 10 minutes (everybody was complaining to each other the following morning so it wasn’t just my room); there was also a large party going on outside with loud music. The noise isn’t the hotels fault, but is pertinent to whether it’s a hotel you should choose to sleep in.
