Great location all around. It’s a short walk to Eat Street for some fun informal food choices. Formal dining options, a grocery market, bakery & chemist shops are located along the promenade just outside the hotel. The city ferry is located a short distance along the dock which provides easy access to other locations along the river. The room we stayed is was well appointed and comfortable. The only negative comment is that the carpets are starting to look their age, not a big distraction ….but noticeable. All & all a good stay & I would recommend the Alcyone to friends.

Great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Water pressure is variable - apparently depends on what room you get. Lovely lobby. Easy parking (additional cost). Room is clean but a little tired (2 bedroom unit)

The apartment was large, spotless and well equipped.

The staff were great at check-in and check-out. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the room was also very quiet considering where it is so we had a great nights sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Great location with plenty of food options and a nice spot to stroll along the River. Would definitely stay here again :)

Rooms great, bed very comfy. Close to airport and great location for restaurants, movies, all amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. We always stay here when in Brisbane.
