Well located, spacious and authentic accommodation with a lovely host. Manik brought us fresh juice on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Excellent value for money!

Home stay in de strip van Negombo. Helaas waren de eigenaren zelf niet aanwezig. De moeder van de eigenaar ontving ons heel vriendelijk. Helaas was communicatie moeizaam en er waren geen extra faciliteiten of services.

It was cheap so we chose it. The woman was friendly but the man was complaining to us about leaving the lights on or something. Not clean clean but not horrible. We felt comfortable staying there. For less than 10€ you cant expect for more.

Food was great. Welcoming hosts.

Decent place to spend a night in Negombo.

中庭に植物が沢山あり、オーナーのマニックさんが迎えてくれました！ お部屋はホテルを想像すると少し劣るかもしれませんが、清潔感もあります。 シャワーはお湯が出ませんでした。 アメニティはないので、自分の持っているものを使いました。 クーラーはなく、天井のファンを回していましたが、今の時期は私は快適に寝れました。レストラン等も近くにあり、小さなスーパーもあり、水なども購入でき、不便はなかったです！ NEGOMBOの街までも3kmないくらいだと思います！ 朝ごはんは500ルピーで用意するよとのことでお願いしました！フレッシュなフルーツやおいしい紅茶などを頂き、朝空港へ向かう予定だったので前の日にトゥクトゥクの手配もして下さりとても対応が良くほっとしました！暖かく迎えてくれます。

海から近いけど、場所が分からずうろうろしてしまった。 近くに店があり便利だった。 安くて清潔でよかった。 チェックインした後、部屋の鍵のことやWi-Fiなど何も説明なく困った。

They were very accommodating of our early morning flight. Nice, tidy room and delicious breakfast. Only flaw was no hot water for showers, but that wasn’t a big deal.

Very nice property with friendly owners of this guest house. Very nice room in the central Negombo Beach Area. It is an ala carte property. A/C is an extra $10/night, breakfast $5/night, airport transfer $16/night. I took Uber to the airport for $5 and ate in the surrounding restaurants. Extra for A/C seems to be the norm for the area. The room is great but no A/C or hot water. I was there in December and it was 32 C or 88 F degrees. Even though the locals do it all of the time and the ceiling fan helps, I cannot imagine staying here in warmer months. They also have a devise and netting to keep the mosquitos under control. Overall, it’s a nice place.

Spent our first and last night at Manik, the room was clean spacious and the staff was very accommodating. The location is perfect right on the strip by the beach with lots of shops and restaurants. It is a family business and they also have a tour agency, we used them as well for the beginning of our stay and highly recommend the home stay and tour agency. Also great location if you have to go to the airport! We had an amazing time in Sri Lanka and want to go back, if we do we will definitely stay at Manik Home Stay.
