We booked our stay at the Resort Ambiant (2 separate rooms); however when we got there to our surprise, the checking was done at a different location (Conac Ambiant) a smaller place at approximately 300 meters away. No explanation or compensation was provided and we were asked to contact Expedia since the booking was done through a third party. Although we specifically requested and pay for 2 twin beds, the room offered had a matrimonial bed. (Room was shared by 2 adult males ). The hotel /conac is not a 5 star hotel! More like a 2 star hotel : old furniture without air conditioning, very average breakfast and is lacking the amenities/quality of a real hotel. The staff is unexperienced and not helpful. We were scammed and it’s very disappointing since we are Romanians as well. We have travelled all over the world and it has never happened to us to book a hotel online and end up at a different location (smaller and lower quality). Do not book this place!

There was a problem with the restaurant. Therefore, we were seamlessly moved to their sister hotel that was 1 min away. Check in was easy. The bed was comfy. The staff were friendly. We would stay again!

Für 1-2 Nächte ist das Hotel ganz ok. Wir waren 5 Tage im (Conacul & Ambient)vor Ort und konnten das immer gleiche Frühstück nicht mehr sehen. Das Zimmer war schön groß und toll mit zwei Räumen. Ansonsten bietet es nicht sehr viel …die Pools sind sehr viel kleiner als es auf den Fotos scheint . 5 Sterne in Rumänien ist nicht vergleichbar mit Deutschland 😉.

Es ist insgesamt ein sehr schönes Hotel, das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The room was great looking, clean but the temperature in the room was lower than in the lobby.The receptionist from the check-in looked bored and the one at the checkout seemed unprepared.

The hotel is lovely. Very clean. Staff is nice and helpful. We are a family of 4. The room was too small. The upper floor had no window nor air conditioning. Breakfast is OK but not more than that. You would expect more out of 5* hotel.

הזמנו 4 חדרים 2 וילות בקומה העליונה לא היה מזגן ..והיינו צריכים לישון על מזרונים למטה . בחדר ספריור המיטה היתה שבורה ורק אחרי יומיים ניסו לתקן . גם המקלחת המנהל לא היה נוכח ורק דברו איתו בטלפון והוא לא התיייחס ולא נתן פתרונות

הזמנו 4 חדרים 2 וילות בקומה העליונה לא היה מזגן ..והיינו צריכים לישון על מזרונים למטה . בחדר ספריור המיטה היתה שבורה ורק אחרי יומיים ניסו לתקן . גם המקלחת המנהל לא היה נוכח ורק דברו איתו בטלפון והוא לא התיייחס ולא נתן פתרונות

הזמנו 4 חדרים במלון חמישה כוכבים קבלנו מלון שלא הייתי נותן לו 3 כוכבים הזמנו חדר משודרג קבלנו מיטה מתנדנדת מזרון נוראי שרק אירי שתי לילות ללא שינה ותלונות נסו לתקן ולא הצליחו הברז במקלחת לא ניתן לתלות וצריך להחזיק הזמנו חדר ל 4וילה אבל בקומה השנייה אין מזגנים היינו צריכים להוריד מזרונים לולישון על הריצפה המנהל היה רק בטלפון ולא היה לא איכפת הביכה בחוץ רק נראת ענקית והיא קטנה ובריכה המקורה שכשוכית פשוט היה סיוט בקיצור

Bien placer entre Brasov et Bran . De belles chambres , très propre . Le restaurant sur place est vraiment un gros atout . Rapport qualitè/prix vraiment interessant .

Splendido hotel in un tranquillo paesino alle porte di Brasov. Dotato di una piccola piscina interna educa mini sauna, bella la sala con biliardo e stupende le camere ben arredate e dotate di balcone oltre che di ogni confort (bollitore, frigobar,tv,condizionatore..). Colazione discreta, possibilità di cenare nel ristorante della struttura

It is a well-equipped hotel, with a nice layout, friendly and hardworking staff in a good location. We arrived extremely late (3am) and were still able to check in. Breakfast was excellent, with made-to-order omelets. It felt more like a large mansion than a hotel. There is a pool table too in case you run out of things to do in Cristian. (Cristian is a much better home base than Brasov for taking advantage of Bran Castle and all the nearby mountains.)

Beautiful Hotel, very big rooms nicely decorated. Indoor and Outdoor pool. playground for little kids, ping pong and pool tables. 15 minute driving to Brashov. The only problem is that their restaurant close at 21:30 (which is a problem because there are no other Restaurants nearby). Still - highly recommended. we loved this place.

tolles Hotel mit guter Infrastruktur. Schöne, grosse Zimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich, das Restaurant ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Netter Pool.

Das Hotel sowie das gesamte Gelände sind in einen sehr gepflegten Zustand. Alles ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, ruhig und sehr sauber, das Bett sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit sehr viel Auswahl, es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, mit vielen authentischen rumänischen Gerichte.

Excellent service and good food.

Ein sehr sauberes Hotel in einer schönen Anlage. Gut erreichbar mit Auto und in der Nähe Schloss Bran und Brasov. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal aber es passt zur Gegend.
