The hotel offered a clean and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of home. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that every detail was addressed. Upon our late evening arrival, we encountered an issue with the charging pod. However, the receptionist efficiently resolved the problem, providing us with peace of mind as we were able to fully charge the car and continue our journey the following morning. Additionally, the food served was both fresh and hot, which was especially appreciated given the three feet of snow outside. We booked our stay through Expedia, allowing us to save significantly on our overall expenses.

The lodge itself was ok, but for a ‘superior’ lodge, it lacked any luxury. Very basic. Tiny little bottle of shower gel didn’t go very far between two people even for a one night stay. We found all staff to be quite rude. From checking in, to then breakfast this morning, everyone we saw looked miserable, slamming plates down at breakfast and not very welcoming at all. I was made to feel quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was also extremely disappointing. No fresh pastries. There were croissants but tiny stale shop bought ones. No ‘fresh fruit’ as described besides a few oranges. The glasses for juice were dirty. The ordered breakfast was also under expectations. I ordered the eggs and ham on brioche bread, the ham was almost black and inedible. The egg and brioche was dry. My husband ordered the standard breakfast but that was also disappointing. We both ended up having a bowl of cereal and leaving. After booking this hotel on reviews of the good breakfast, I felt very mislead. For £147 a night, I expected a lot more. Unfortunately for what started off with food expectations, ended up being very disappointing and we won’t be retuning.

Quiet clean room in one of the lodges. Staff , food and breakfast all great. Walkable to the main village.

Check in was fine so was the room though it is old - long time since had a 14inch tv screen - but clean and comfortable. It was the breakfast that let it down. The buffet was laughable, the older lady who served us was very grumpy and the english was the absolute minimum to call it an english breakfast - though did have magnificent poached egg!

After spending over £500 on our special weekend away. The front door was broken and very heavy to pull open and walk through the room was nice well presented but I was very disappointed on the restaurant on our room card and on checking in it stipulated food was served until 20:30 we turned up at 8 only to be told they had changed the times the week before did show them our room card but it was out of their hands so we had to have a taxi into the town. Overall for the price very disappointing.

The hotel was lovely, the gym great and staff very friendly. Breakfast sausages weren't the best and poached eggs overcooked so need to sort those out

A lovely hotel with very helpful, friendly staff. The food in the bar was excellent with good service. Easy walking distance to a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely relaxing spa facilities after a day out walking. Good central location for walkers. Accomodation was comfortable and clean. Would give it a higher rating than 3 star. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Parking was good staff were helpfull. Room wasn’t a deluxe lodge as stated very over due a make over and it was 2 single beds put together which I find wrong when stated it’s a double room!

A lovely area to stay. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Free parking. Rooms were comfortable, hotel had excellent dining facilities, bar and reception area. Attached spa was perfect.

Spa was great nice little gym. Bar area lovely breakfast great. 10 min gentle walk into town , chalets might benefit a little from a makeover but clean and comfortable

Séjour de 3 nuits, la chambre était super rien à dire ! La localisation parfaite. La piscine agréable. Le seul point à améliorer serait le petit déjeuner. Très long pour servir et pas beaucoup de choix.
