MHL was exactly what we wanted for our first international, family trip. The entrance to the room was private and the room more like an Air BnB with the perk of cleaning services. This made our room feel like home away from home. The location was excellent with easy access to public transportation, a parking garage nearby, delicious cafes and restaurants all around us, and within walking distance to Old Lyon. Our host regularly checked in with us to if we needed anything, including information on local travel when we made a day trip south. We highly recommend staying at MHL and would stay again!

We spent 10 nights at MHL and absolutely loved it! The hosts, Jean Charles, Claire and Julie, are the kindest and most helpful hosts we have ever had. The suite was very comfortable and we slept well in the bed. Having a clothes washing machine was really convenient, and the dishwasher was nice, too. The location was perfect: a few minutes walk to the main metro line, there is a fantastic bakery right next door, as well as an amazing cheese shop and lots of great restaurants. We recommend MHL highly and would definitely go back if we visited Lyon again.

Overall a pleasant stay. The owners tried their best to appear helpful. Clean, furnished apartment with full utilities. However, the so called courtyard was in the vicinity of the kitchen of a restaurant, with staff throwing out garbage into a dumpster which happened to be in the centre of the courtyard. Additionally, noise insulation was suboptimal.

Amazing property with VERY responsive staff. Easy check-in and convenient to all the best spots in Lyon. Lots of markets close by to cook back in the suite while there if you choose. Most on the same block as hotel. Area around hotel is very safe and within 5-10 minute walk of just about everything to see. Restaurant at entrance of hotel is very convenient and decent food. Overall 10/10!

Lejligheden er i flere niveauer og meget charmerende indrettet. Gårdhaven er grøn og hyggelig, og lejligheden ligger derfor tilbagetrukket fra omkringliggende gader, hvilket gør, at der er helt stille. Kvarteret er meget hyggeligt med mange små lokale caféer og restauranter og gode shoppingmuligheder. Perfekt beliggenhed nær Rhône-floden. Begge badeværelser har badekar, med maksimum ståhøjde på 170 cm. Stedet kan stærkt anbefales, og værtsparret er yderst hjælpsomme.

조용하고 편안한 동네에 위치한 숙소. 지하철역도 가깝고 관광지 어디든 가기 편합니다. 그릇과 요리시설이 완비되어 식사를 하기도 편리했고, 아침에 숙소 근처에서 갓나온 따뜻한 바게트 빵을 사먹는 일도 즐거웠습니다.

Julie was an outstanding host; eager to make everything about our stay just right, happy to provide information about sights, local amenities and transportation options. Bel appartement rénové avec une belle cuisine et salle de bain dans un quartier chic et convivial

J’ai reçu un superbe accueil chaleureux, le loft qui m’était destiné été magnifique, décoré avec goût et spacieux. La literie confortable, le nécessaire de toilette et de cuisine présent et surtout une propreté impeccable. J’ai adoré mon séjour, un cocon de répit après mes journées de travail. L’hôte est présent et très sympathique. Je vous le recommande vivement pour votre séjour à Lyon. La qualité du logement, l’emplacement dans le quartier et la relation de confiance avec les hôtes.

Overall we had a great stay at MHL. Location was very convenient to all the attractions of Lyon and to the metro system. The room was clean and well decorated. The host communicated with us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. But there was some things that were not exactly as expected. I will admit this was our first trip to Europe, so some of the items listed below may be typical there and we were just unaware. First, there was a washing machine, but no working dryer. The listing does not specifically list a dryer, but there was one there (broken). This forced an unplanned trip to a local laundromat. Next, while we were pleasantly surprised to find two bathrooms (one full and one half (shower & sink)) both only had a hand held shower head on a hose. And both bathrooms had such low ceilings, we had to crouch over to shower. Lastly, there were issues with the lock on the door to the room. After discussing with the host, it was supposed to automatically lock when it closed, but this wasn't happening. We easily got past this by using the key to lock the deadbolt from inside, but the host did not want us to do that as if we mistakenly left the key in the lock on the inside and left the room, they would have to break the window to get in. He came at one point and said it was fixed, but it was not so we continued to use the deadbolt. Not a huge issue for us, just not as expected.

We loved our stay at the Maison Hotel Lyon. It was perfectly located in the city, in a beautiful building. Its central location allowed us to easily explore the city, and the nice amenities of the space meant we could easily make meals ourself and be comfortable in the space when we weren't out enjoying Lyon. It was also very wonderfully run by a kind and helpful staff.
