Clean room and helpful, friendly staff. They even gave us a bagged breakfast for our early departure!

Das Zimmer war neu renoviert und sehr sauber, jedoch war der Ausblick wie auf den Fotos nicht gegeben (Blick auf leeres Feld statt auf Weinreeben). Die Liegen am Pool waren normale Klappliegen statt wie auf den Bildern abgebildete Holzliegen mit dicken Polstern. Einige Sonnenschirme waren gerissen. Der Pool sollte um 09:00 geöffnet sein. Um 10:00 fuhr noch das Reinigungsgerät durch den Pool, zudem war am Pool und leider auch im Wasser Tierkot verteilt. Das Frühstück war typisch italienisch. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren freundlich und haben für uns ein Frühstückspaket vorbereitet da wir am Abreisetag nicht mehr das Frühstücksbüffet nutzen konnten.

The hotel consists of beautifully restored stone buildings in the centre of a vineyard. It’s a small hotel with more people probably visiting to do winetasting and use the restaurant and host events than staying overnight. Food was excellent and the views, the pool and the Rooms all lovely. The two rooms we had, with terraces, were a modern conversion of a separate building, but in my view probably still the most spacious and comfortable. Other rooms just as nicely decorated, but not as roomy. Service was generally very good with individual lapses when people were a bit busy.

Abbiamo raggiunto la struttura con nostro mezzo. Bel posto in mezzo alla campagna siciliana, si gode un bel panorama. Abbiamo scelto una suite e la camera è staccata dal corpo principale. Dotata di confort e con arredi gradevoli. Ambienti ampi e puliti. Ottima e abbondante colazione con garnde varietà di dolci. Abbiamo scelto di cenare in hotel per l'evento Convivio di Bacco. La cena è stata ottima, bello in contesto e buon cibo abbinato a ottimi vini. Peccato non sia stato possibile visitare la vigna in quanto, ci è stato detto, è a qualche chilometro dall'hotel.

Nos gustó mucho la ubicación del hotel. Las vistas eran espectaculares. El hotel es precioso y nuestra habitación suficientemente grande y con techos altos, muy importante para nosotros. El jardín precioso y muy bien cuidado. Qué lástima que no nos quedamos a cenar en el hotel, seguro hubiese sido una experiencia memorable. La piscina muy agradable también. Hemos tenido la suerte de ir en junio, cuando la temporada está solo empezando. No había mucha gente y eso forma parte del encanto y la tranquilidad del hotel. Con más gente no es lo mismo. Las instalaciones, la decoración, las vistas y el jardín...hermosos.

Fantastic spot for travellers looking for slightly off the beaten path tranquil experience. Beautiful setting, quiet, tasty breakfast and on-site restaurant, including wine tasting from their region. We stayed for two nights and that was perfect amount of time to relax and recharge. The rooms could benefit from bigger windows/more light but apart from that, no other considerations. Highly recommend.

Baglio Sorìa is listed as a 4-star hotel and having a 4-star means the details counts. That’s exactly where Baglio Sorìa fail and is clearly overrated in terms of value for money and quality of services. So in short if you’re expecting a 4-star services at international standard, don’t stay in Baglio Sorìa overnight. We booked a Deluxe room for several nights where a balcony and view on vineyard was specifically mentioned as added value vs a standard room. When we arrived at the hotel such room wasn’t available. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite (without balcony and with very few difference) and we had in exchange a view partly on some garden (no vineyard) and for the other part on the car park. This was our first deception and discussion with the receptionist was rude not trying or bringing any solution. The Junior Suite was very basic, standard modern equipment and bathroom was not well maintained but overall clean. Hotel was very close to an highway and all the suites are facing the highway, so you hear noise during nights of trucks passing on the highway, was not so quiet and not so relaxing nights. The swimming pool was dirty and not maintained, no extra facilities, nor pool services where open during our stay, so mostly disappointing when you expect a more valuable service as initially sold. No compensation (even symbolic) where offered by the hotel desolate we consume in our several day trip.

La piscina è poco curata e con un fastidioso rumore di sottofondo

Location molto bella immersa nella natura. Personale accogliente, stanze pulite e ampie (anche per una famiglia con due figli), cibo e vino ottimi.

The place was beautiful and the wine is delicious. I would recommend staying here even if only a few nights.

Il baglio si trova immerso nel verde e si respira un'aria paradisiaca, davvero rigrnerante... peccato la vicinanza eccessiva all'autostrada ma nonostante tutto non abbiamo sentito chissà quali rumori di macchine. Abbiamo fatto la degustazione vini e considerando che io e il mio compagno ne abbiamo fatte parecchie ci sentiamo di dire quanto questa sia stata di qualità, per nulla approssimativa, anzi... Il sommelier preparatissimo, ci ha tenuto a spiegarci tutto con una passione che si percepiva in ogni singola parola e a mostrarci persino le diverse tipologie di terreno in cui crescono i loro vigneti, mostrando anche fessibilità e disponibilità alla nostra richiesta di poter cambiare uno dei vini compresi nella degustazione considerando che lo conoscevamo già. Anche il ristorante ottimo, abbinamenti ricercati e pesce fresco. L'unica pecca che vogliamo segnalare consiste nella poca pulizia delle stanze adibite al pernottamento: la nostra era parecchio impolverata ma considerati i dettagli eccellenti di tutto il resto del soggiorno, ci sentiamo comunque di potere chiudere un occhio su questo. Lo consiglieremo vivamente e consiglieremo i vini Firriato, di cui ci siamo perdutamente innamorati.
