We had an excellent stay at Avalon House, Nick was welcoming and very helpful throughout the stay and the breakfast offered was of high quality with good choices. Our room was comfortable , well maintained and had all the basics we needed. The B&B is in a great location just on edge of the centre of Lyndhurst where there is an excleeent choice of pubs and restaurants, the Waterloo Arms being our particular fave. When we next come back to the new forest we will definitely stay at Avalon. Thank you Nick for an excellent stay!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Avalon B&B. Nick was a superb host and the property as a whole was very clean and tidy. The rooms had everything we needed for our short stay and the breakfast options were great. The full English breakfast Nick cooked on our 2nd morning was the ideal start to the day for our long drive back up to Manchester. The town with restaurants, bars and shops is only a 4/5 min walk with the New Forrest also close by. All in all a great place to stay and would highly recommend. Thanks Nick...

arrived approx 2 hrs before booking in. Was informed that we could park and return later. Very helpfull.

Excellent all round accommodation. Warm welcome. Comfortable spotless and fresh rooms with very comfortable beds followed by a well cooked and tasty breakfast in a lovely dining room. Limited parking on site but the road alongside offered plenty of unrestricted additional parking literally outside the house entrance. Location was also on the right side of town meaning no need to negotiate the terrible one way system and constantly heavy traffic through Lyndhurst was a bonus. 5 minute walk into town where there were plenty of good eating options. Would happily stay again and recommend for a pleasant stay in Lyndhurst

Our host, Nick, was so friendly and helpful. He made our stay delightful. The accommodations were. comfortable and beautiful. Surrounding town and parks were wonderful. The included breakfast was delicious and filling. I would suggest that Nick put a thermostat on the heater, have directions for use of the shower controls and have more space for toiletries in the bathroom.

One night trip to Lyndhurst. Location was great, free parking either at the hotel or on street. Comfortable room, nice little touches such as fresh milk appreciated, as was allowing us to use the car park before check-in. Breakfast was fresh and excellent quality

Good sized rooms, everything is clean and well put together. Lots storage space if planning to stay a while Lovely choice for breakfast. Friendly owners. Convenient for exploring New Forest and just 2 minute walk into centre of Lyndhurst. I was at front of house, and noticed road noise. Rooms to the back probably quieter. Easy to find by car.
