Quiet and peaceful. Access to full kitchen, clean showers and room. Make sure to bring food to cook because there are no food places or grocery stores anywhere close by.

The room was nice and clean, the bathrooms and kitchen were good as well.

Fine , home-like atmosphere. Avoid room nmbr 2 bc too close to bathroom.

Great place! Nice surroundings, they have a hot tub outside and a steam bath if you fancy those things ;) Good kitchen, nice living room with a view and nice rooms and bathrooms. Owners are friendly :)

Remote quite and simple hostel

Mjög yndisleg dvöl, flott þjónusta og þægindi, allt til alls og stórt eldhús sem og borðstofan. Gott herbergi með frábæru útsýni og góðum rúmum. Eigendur yndisleg hjón sem gaman var að kynnast 😃

I have to say that Reykhólar was one of the BEST places we stayed so far during our movie shoot in the western part of Iceland. Beautiful location, quiet, VERY clean and comfortable beds. The hot tub outside was a PLUS! I would recommend to everyone to stay there! Thank you for accommodating us, Reykhólar :)

good place! common areas are clean, bathrooms and bedrooms are clean. lots of room for parking.

Decent place, more of a practical place to crash as you drive through the area.

The hostel is super clean and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped. Washrooms are clean and of good condition. There is not much to do in this area but it's a great place for stop-over if you plan to drive to westfjords.
