The pictures on Expedia were not accurate! Once we checked in and went to the room and saw that the room was not clean and the bed was an old concave mattress with springs coming out, we wanted to cancel our reservation and leave. We stayed one night to be nice and looked for another room. Expedia helped but we still need to be reimbursed for the 3 nights we did not stay. The following day we showed up to speak to the manager and saw that the room was rented out. Hopefully they will accommodate us but we still haven’t heard from them.

There are 3 reason for the lower rating. The main one was the noise. The apartment overlooks the cavern which is surrounded by nightclubs. The room aren’t soundproof so you can hear all the music from the club/pubs up to closing (2am). This made it impossible to sleep until 2am. If you aren’t looking to go out late in Liverpool then this will be an issue. The second issue was there was no phone signal in the room - so I was unable to make mobile calls. Thirdly, the WiFi was very poor. The room did look like the photos. They were fairly clean and tidy. The listing is false in terms of the free soap etc these where not provided. The apartment is centrally located and all staff were very pleasant. Sadly, the main issue is the noise otherwise I would have gave a 4/5. This needs to be mentioned on the listing!

The bed was very comfortable, and the location is brilliant for exploring the city. However the room was damaged and not very clean and weathered. Large knife was on a low shelf readily accessible to any small child.

If you like your reservation lost, sub standard room, faeces and urine and other fluids in bedding and mattress, terrible musty room smell, broken internal doors, broken shower drain, broken wsh machine and no communication and wifi, being ghosted and not responding to a refund, then stay at Terlon. Do filthy we have reported the above to the Liverpool Council for health and tourist hazards. The manager was in complete denial saying the above was acceptable to stay there. We RPT barely 2 nights sitting up in chairs. Stay if you like the above

Was ok had to pay £20 for parking at the car park near the hotel not £10 as stated on here.

A little bit dated, building cleanliness could have been better. Room comfy but basic, bed good

The location was central and convenient, but noise levels and Reception on 1st floor was poorly located, so we had to take unnecessary lift rides.

Room was in a good location. It was well equipped however we were disappointed when we were making the bed to discover the mattress protector underneath our sheet was stained with blood which obviously is not putting thing and something you wouldn’t expect in a hotel station shouldn’t expect it here really on the ground alone it’s a place that I will avoid in the future especially as we paid good money to stay for four nights

Perfect for one night away, usually stay hotels but bank holiday werkend and Liverpool parade pushed prices sky high. Was pleasantly surprised by whole visit

The apartment was clean, ok for space & close to the Beatles Museum, shopping mall, docks and bars. It was great to have a kettle & toaster. We did need a scissors and a tea towel. kettle for coffee and

First time at Terlon, our usual haunt round the corner was full. Previous reviews were mixed, so wasn't sure what to expect, but it was definitely ok, a few piccy things that could have been better, such as a tea towel, ovenware and larger towels, but all in all, minor grumbles, and it was pleasant.

Another lovely stay at these comfy apartments - our fifth stay here in two years. We love the friendly and helpful staff and the apartments are always spotlessly clean and Comfy. The location is excellent and we simply love keep returning! Highly recommended!

Easy process, great location

The room I got was not what the photos look like and the bed is so small and has a cheap mattress and towels provided are of poor quality. The floor was not clean as my socks were black from the dirt from the floor. I would not recommend this place

Great location, loud at night but to be expected. Very cheap toiletries and room not being cleaned during 2 night stay made the stay feel less than luxurious. Bread knife would be a good addition in the kitchenette. Feels safe. Would revisit. Thank you!

Reception staff was excellent despite the contradicting messages sent through Expedia with regards to check in times and security deposit. As other reviews state the place is tired and in much need of some maintenance. The room was ok, bed clean (although small) kitchen ok but dirty soft furnishings. One full length mirror and large mirror in the bathroom which was good. Noise wasn’t too bad although we were out all evening. Overall probably wouldn’t return for the price, but staff really welcoming and friendly.

I complained when checking out. The apartment was dirty, the mattress topper was completely stained, there were cup marks on table, curtainsnwere habging off the rail, didnt close. The floor was lifting in places, there was mould by the shower, cigarette burns on thr other table. I would havr checkrd out indtantly if i had somewhere rlse to stay. I would never recommend it and would never stay there again
