What a fun quirky place. Hosts were so friendly and beds were very comfortable.

Me and a friend had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. Everything was perfect I have never experienced such hospitality before. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast was lovely

In addition to a marvellous property that is truly homely, the owners were amazing. Their openness to share information as well as stories made this a fabulous revisit to Glasgow for me after many years away. In the end they are an amazing double act of genuine expertise and empathy that I very much look forward to meeting in the future!

Really nice stay, good amenities in the property. Breakfast was nice. Only 4 stars because on our first night there was argument and noise at 1am which woke us up, it was fine the second day. Otherwise would highly recommend, very nice B&B bed was comfortable.

Situated in a small cul de sac. On arrival was met enthusiastically and couldn't have been much more helpful. Explained everything about the property and nearby area and the best way into the city by foot as we requested. Took us approx 20 to 30 to walk but bus stop not to far away. Parking was good if you have a car was good. Comfy room nice and clean and everything worked as it should. We had a shared bathroom but it does have ensuite ones. Quiet area on top of a hill. Good value for money. No lift though.

Horrifying. Where to begin? List-form seems easiest, so here we go... We had to phone the owner and wait around in the drizzle to get someone to open the door, and when we were finally allowed inside, we were given the wrong room. The guest house itself was filled with old boxes and miscellaneous items. We were told only upon arrival that there was no wifi. The owner asked if I would like a whisky and then poured me a glass in a separate room where I couldn't see them. I chose to see this as carelessness rather than any ill intent, but nevertheless, it's a seriously bad look. My partner was a little unwell at the time - mild food poisoning; the owner suggested that maybe he could 'examine' her later on. He also gave me a handful of pills to give her... with his bare hands. Ew. Again, I'm not suggesting any intentions here, but it was a very weird thing to do and to say. We were woken up at 6am by a deafening drilling in the hall immediately outside the room. And when I say deafening I mean it: in the vicinity of 90 dbls. This went on for over half an hour. There was no explanation or apology. Finally, we were ticked off for not coming down for breakfast. I never gave any indication that we would be and I don't appreciate being grumbled at by people who have woken us up with industrial level noise at the crack of dawn. My partner did not feel comfortable alone in the room and, honestly, I'm not sure I did either! The whole experience was super creepy and uncomfortable.

Very cold, central heating is not on and so rooms are heated with electric heaters.

Der Check-In hat gut geklappt. Tom war sehr nett und hat uns Tipps für die Stadt gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist schon etwas älter und ein bisschen heruntergekommen. Man teilt sich ein einziges Badezimmer mit mehreren Zimmern und muss teilweise etwas länger warten bis man ins Badezimmer kommt. Außerdem ist es sehr kalt. Sowohl im Badezimmer als auch in den Zimmern an sich. Es gibt eine elektrische Heizung in jedem Zimmer, aber trotzdem war es nachts und morgens sehr kalt. Das Bett war sauber. In unserem Zimmer gab es ein Waschbecken, was wir sehr gut fanden. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Am Tisch konnte man sich nett mit den anderen Gästen unterhalten. Insgesamt leider zu kalt im Winter.

it seems to be in the more industrial part of town, but also where the universities are located. it's not a far walk to buchanon street which has a metro and a lot of excitement around it. i really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a more local location.

This is probably the most beautiful house I’ve seen in the UK during my travels and Tom is a wonderful host! Will definitely be back next time around to Glasgow!

Quaint property with nice architectural details. Big breakfast room, in dining room. Shared bathroom on upper floor. Good value.

We were greeted by Thomas as soon as we arrived with a cup of tea, breakfast was a lovely spread every morning at 8.30 and was delicious, rooms were kept clean and made everyday. We were very happy with our stay and the hosts were lovely. Would definitely recommend

Tom was a terrific host. I got straight off a plane from Sydney jetlagged and sleep deprived and Tom's lively welcome was just what I needed to start my holiday.
