Lovely small hotel on the outskirts of Stresa. Never had a breakfast offering with so much fresh fruit/delicious ! Nice balcony overlooking the islands. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Couple of minor points- Shower could do with being re grouted/sealing as a bit brown and the sun beds are at the stage for an upgrade. Just minor points and didn’t detract from our lovely stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Flora. The staff were so helpful and friendly and, although a little old-fashioned, the rooms were really comfortable, clean, with an excellent shower, complimentary water, a fridge and a small balcony. The swimming pool is large, well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds and a food and drinks service. The restaurant was closed for two of our four days there and has a very basic offering, but generous portions and the breakfast was really good - loads of choice, good food and lovely staff. The hotel is so close to the lake and there are a couple of local restaurants (the one on the left is better/really good) with a wonderful setting for a lazy lunch. The train and bus services are nearby and good, or it's a 20 minute walk into Stresa central alongside the lake and you can take a boat to the local islands too. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel! Thank you for a great stay. 😊

Very nice hotel. It's not too far from the town about a mile. Booked 2 single rooms. Room was quite small but adequate. My friend had a slightly larger room with a small double. Staff were lovely nothing too much trouble for them. Breakfast had a good selection. Would definitely stay again but would probably upgrade to a lake view room. Celebrated my retirement and hotel provided a bottle of wine with sweets

The staff were exceptional and always so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample and delicious and the breakfast staff also extremely friendly. Beds extremely comfortable and rooms extremely quiet. Slightly out of town (about 15 minutes) but I liked walking to town and back along the waterfront after dinner. Going to the islands was extremely close - just down the hill. Great stay!!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The views across the lake were exceptional. The breakfast was extremely good and the staff were excellent, in particular Bea who assisted me with some queries. Although we experienced a couple of minor issues these were rectified expediently. We would definitely visit again.

Localização mais que excelente!! 200 metros do Imbarcadero e 20minutos a pé de Stresa! Único problema era que Wi-Fi pegava apenas no saguão do hotel.

Staff were all welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the choice was excellent. Great location for the ferry at Carciano and a lovely walk in to Stresa mostly along the lake Used the pool a couple of times - a little cold but fine once you're in.

Excellent staff, very helpful and always with a happy disposition The room was spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable and great views of the lake from the large balcony The whole hotel was always spotlessly clean Breakfasts had a good range of foods all very well prepared The walk to Stresa Centre was a bit challenging in the heat, it’s about 1mile and took 20-30 minutes, so we often used local taxis which have a fixed price from Stresa to any hotel of 10 euros The road noise was not a problem within the hotel but a bit noticeable at the pool
