Beautiful room and view, helpful staff and the pub next door. Doesn’t get any better

Been staying at this property regularly for the last three years and always had a pleasant experience. Booked a room for our return trip from the Gold Coast and we were given a room near the reception. Room number 2 smelled like something died and was left for a while and was not suitable for Humans. The second room they offered us, Room number 6, didn’t smell quite as bad but the light didn’t work properly and the air conditioning didn’t work at all. So we put everything back in the car and drove home to Sydney. Bloody disgusting

The rooms were really nice, the bathroom was nice and big. We were there on King’s Birthday, there were no staff for check in, but it was pretty straightforward to check in without them. We requested a late check out as we have a very young baby, and they accommodated us very well and also provided a cot for us for our stay. The only thing was our keys stoped working at normal checkout time, so it was lucky I was still in the room at this time. The tavern across from the lodge was very close and the area is beautiful. Would like to stay again!

Lovely location and walk along the river. However, the accomodation was poorly maintained. The first room had a sewage smell possibly due to a burst pipe. There were large holes in the ceiling outside room and we had to request a room change which was kindly accommodated. The food at the tavern was not good - overcooked and soggy parmi.

A lack of HOT water. More coffee sachets would be appreciated. Otherwise everything in the room was A1.

Dont know did not go for a walk. Look forward to staying longer next time.
