Very nice hotel in the middle of desert, excellent location to stay going to Landmannalauger.

Prix bien trop élevé pour le service. Seul la situation est intéressante. Personnels du restaurant qui feraient de se reconvertir car on sent bien qu’ils n’aiment pas servir les clients

Even though the property is located in quite a remote area, it’s very well maintained and offers great value for the price. The cleanliness and upkeep really stood out. I was especially pleased to find that the breakfast included a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options. A great choice if you don’t mind a quieter, off-the-beaten-path location and valley of tears and other breathtaking locations are also close to this spot. The only caveat is you need to let the hotel know about the late checkin and sometimes they dont pick up phone being short staffed.

We loved our stay here!! Hotelrooms are mini but staff is super nice. The hospitality of the Polish staff is beyond anything we have had. Food is delicious too. And we could use the sauna till around 22h.

Rooms are good with private bathroom. We could also enjoy the sauna (shower in the sauna was not optimal as it was flooding the floor). Had a nice dinner with very good portion.

Accueil chaleureux, buffet copieux, chambre à 4 confortable, bonne literie, espaces communs agreables, propres, conviviaux, sauna accessible, tres bien place pour acceder au parc Landmannalaugar.

L’hôtel dispose de pléthore de services : restauration de qualité, sauna, espace détente avec un staff sympathique ! La literie est top et la chambre était propre. Recommandé pour un passage au Landmannalaugar

This hotel is really far from normal tourists spots but we wanted to hike a mountain near by so I selected this location. I really enjoyed our time here and the view was pristine and untouched land. The rooms have big windows so you have a great view.

Restaurant was little expensive

The property is one of very few that give you reasonable access to the Highlands. The budget rooms are small, but you get what you pay for staff is friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good and sometimes great particularly the lamb. Definitely on the revisit list

This hotel was convenient for our trip to Landmannalauger. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Rooms are very small.

Very nice and comfortable 5***** Hotel with very nice rooms, comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. Everything was very clean. Nice Sauna and hot pool! This was our most expensive Hotel, we booked on our 12 days Island trip, but it was worth every single cent!

Cons: - Rooms have zero sound proofing. - Rooms and service feel like a basic hostel yet you are paying 4 star prices. Also no kitchen. Plus they dont provide a kettle in any of the rooms. - Reception is often empty. We only stayed here as we could not find any other hotel within an hour to landmannalaugar. They seem to know this, hence the extreme pricing.

Très belle hôtel chaleureux, les chambres petites mais parfaites. Le service de restauration est très agréable et le buffet du dejeuner est plus que garni. Je recommande cette hôtel

Great location just before F208 to Landmannalaugar. Clean and modern room. Great cafe and restaurant. Very friendly personel in the reception and restaurant. Got some good tips for sights on the way back from Landmannalaugar on F225. I would definitely come back.

Enkelt och trångt rum. Men rent och fräscht och det finns allt man behöver. Mycket bra info från mountains guides. De nya ägarna har lyft stället snäpp👍

A clean and honest hotel close to landmanalaugar, which has no other accommodation options so close (except for camping and a sleeping bag hut in the mountains).

Great place to stay, highly recommend!
